Training Centre.
"Yo." Gracie said nonchalantly, waving her hand at Arceus with a small smile.
Eyes immediately flashed towards Arceus' group.
Arcues ignored it and just did what a friend would do,"Yo." He said as he tossed her a bottle of water.
"I thought you were heading out?" Gracie asked in between gulping down large amounts of water.
"Yeah we were...but we came to spectate after my friends," Arceus pointed to three guys and one girl behind him, all looking at Gracie as if she were some kind of rare specimen,"Oh so wished to see how strong you were. Lemme introduce em. The black haired one's Leo, blonde one is Alex, The one with long black hair is Julian and the brunette's Dawn. Guys, meet Gracie. Gracie, meet my friends."
"Hello." Gracie greeted.
Though she was comfortable around Arceus, around new people she was actually quite shy.
"Hi..."
"Nice to meet you."
"It's a pleasure to be acquainted with you."
"Pleasure to meet you."
They treated her like a regular person, unlike some other times where she had been approached by people who believed her to be some kind of goddess.
"I'm not the real goddess..." She would internally think, smiling bitterly.
Arceus felt the awkwardness and broke the ice,"So! Anyways, Gracie! We were about to go out to buy tons of food to eat? Wanna come?"
Gracie's eyes shined with curiousness.
There were a few main things she cared about in her heart.
They were: Friends, 'cute' animals, getting stronger, Belle and finally, food.
Needless to say, Gracie was practically a glutton, despite all her training with Belle, she ate as much as she could and when Belle brought delicacies, she would always request for more.
"Oho? Is Gracie perhaps also an avid lover of food like ourselves?" Dawn asked.
Gracie nodded immediately, eyes shining at the thought of delicious food.
"No worries! I, Dawn Farlier! Will bring you about city to try everything you possibly can try!" Dawn proclaimed.
She had already begun to view Gracie as an innocent junior of hers, already forgetting the spine-chilling power Gracie had revealed.
"Nn!" Gracie replied.
Arceus gave a small smile, seeing that they had gotten along.
"Well, let's go then. What's the first stop?" Arceus asked.
"Blood wolf steak! It's both delicious and nutritious!" Alex shouted.
"C'mon Gracie! Let's go!" Dawn pulled at Gracie's sleeve, pulling her along with the rest heading excitedly out of school grounds to taste this city's delicacies.
This was when Gracie felt relaxed.
For a long time now, she had always felt suppressed and tense but now, in this moment alongside Arceus and his friends...she felt light.
Free from all burden, able to do what she wished.
She walked happily alongside them, chatting as they headed to their destination.
