Your very cute but cocky neighbor, Jungkook, was the best part about living in your neighborhood. Sure he would get on your nerves, but you two always liked teasing each other. If people saw you two out on the street, they might think you guys are a couple. He would protect you as if you were his. He didn't want to admit it but he was jealous when other people are around you for too long.

Since you two didn't have the same classes, he would memorize your schedule so he can see you every day. He knew everything about you, from favorite color to your allergens. Whenever one of his friends tell him to just ask you out, he shuts the idea down immediately. He was afraid that he would be no good for you and that you might be afraid of him whenever he gets angry.

You had a crush on Jungkook for a while and you tried to send him signals but he wasn't getting them. You eventually decided to push your feelings aside and find someone else. You were happy with this person and most of your friends supported this relationship. Jungkook, on the other hand, was furious. He hated how someone else was making you laugh and smile. He faked being happy for you but it was hurting him on the inside. One time he went out alone and saw you two across the street. It took all of his willpower not to cause a scene so he turned the other way and went home.

The first day he met you, he knew you would be his. Now he feels stupid that the person of his dreams was taken from his grasp. It took him a while to realize that someone was knocking at his door. He opened the door and his heart broke into pieces when he saw you. Your eyes were red and you had tear-stained cheeks. He pulled you inside the house and held you in his arms. You two stayed like that for a while and after a few moments, you broke the silence.

"They broke up with me because of you."

Jungkook pulled away from you and gave you a puzzled look.

"Because of me?"

"Yes because they realized I still had feelings for you."

Jungkook's eyes popped at the statement.

"You have feelings...for me?", he asked in disbelief.

"Yes stupid. I've liked you for a good while now."

"So I can finally ask you the question?"

"Yes you can."

"____, will you please be my partner?"

"Yes Jungkook, I will."

He picked you up and span you around in a circle. He peppered a bunch of kisses on your face and you couldn't help but giggle. Who knew that someone who could be so jealous and cocky can also be so cute and adorable. You both were happy because you were finally able to claim what was yours.
