Kim Hongjoong, a name and face you haven't seen in years. To say that you missed him was an understatement. You knew that he wanted to go off and be a music composer and you sent him off, teasing that you better get song writing credit for some of the songs that you helped him write. From time to time, you would listen to the drafts of different songs that he made for whatever mood you were feeling. You were able to pinpoint each song with a memory of him and you truly longed to see him again. If only you knew what he was doing with his life right now.

You were on a YouTube deep dive when you looked at the recommendations list. There was a thumbnail that struck your eye and you brought yourself closer to the screen, wondering why the person looks so familiar. You clicked on the video and as soon as you heard his voice, you let out a gasp. You paused the video and ran with your computer to find your mom.

"MOM!"

"In the living room!"

You took off to the living room and you sat down next to your mom on the couch.

"You remember Hongjoong?"

"Of course I do! What about him?"

"Look!"

You went back a few seconds and when she saw him, she too let out a gasp. She complimented that he looks very handsome and you agreed with her. After you both finished the video, you did some searching and saw that they were hosting a fan sign in your hometown. Since it was based on raffle entry, you entered as much as you possibly could to ensure that you would be reunited with your childhood best friend. You prayed to all the heavenly bodies possible and the universe was on your side because you were one of the raffle winners.

It was finally the day and you were extremely nervous. You had your album ready and you waiting for your chance to go up. You saw that Hongjoong was the last person you had to see and you had to try to hide from him so he wouldn't notice you. It was finally your time and you went through each member one by one. Your cheeks were starting to hurt from how hard you were smiling and laughing with them. You almost forgot the whole purpose of you being there when you glanced to see Hongjoong was next. As you moved to sit in front of him, you spoke first.

"Hi Hongie."

You silently prayed that he would remember that nickname and he does because his eyes widen in shock as he scans your face. He let's out a yell and comes around the table. You stand up and he pulls you in a tight hug. You wrapped your arms around him and he slightly raised you off the floor. Everyone in the venue watched this whole thing unfold. He let's you go and he just looks at you in shock.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He slightly shook you as you laughed.

"You really thought that I wouldn't come see my best friend when he's back home?"

"But we haven't seen each other in years?"

"Okay and?"

"I-"

"Just say you missed me dummy."

"Fine, I missed you loser."

You both hugged each other again and then sat down to continue the fansign. You asked if there was any way you can bring him home to see your mom since she missed him so much and he said he'll see what he can do.

You went back to your seat and watched him interact with his fans. He looked so happy to see them and it made your heart swell with joy. After all the fans had their chance with the members, Hongjoong ran up to your seat.

"I talked to my manager and they gave me the okay!"

So after the group said goodbye to everyone, you waited outside for Hongjoong and once you spotted him, you practically rushed home. You spent the rest of the day catching up and making up for lost time. You both were so happy to see each other again and you pink promised that you would stay in contact again, which you very much did so.
