Your boyfriend, Namjoon wasn't like any other guy. One reason being is that he's a vampire. It's natural for his body to be stone cold but he still craves for body heat, your body heat to be exact. If it were possible to glue himself to you in order to feel your warmth, he would.

Although you don't mind the cuddles during the day, whenever it was nighttime it was your worst nightmare. You are a hot sleeper, meaning that if you cover up, you'll sweat. Namjoon enjoys cuddling up next to you at any time of day but it's hard for you during the night. The two of you would start out facing each other on your respected sides of the bed, having pillow talk. You would talk about how your day went and if you needed any advice, Namjoon would offer it to you. You two would hold hands while talking and when you felt yourself falling asleep, you would hold his face in your hands, having your heat transfer to warm up his cheeks.

Namjoon has tried to make himself feel warm without you but after many different attempts, it didn't feel the same at all. He tried heated blankets, thick comforters, and everything inbetween but nothing was working for him. He did feel warm with these various ways but there was something about your heat that doesn't compare to the alternatives that he tried. When he held you, he was able to hold his world. Namjoon felt at ease when he was holding you but he never had the heart to tell you. Subconsciously, he went over to cuddle you and you immediately felt yourself get hotter. You look over and see him looking at you.

"Namjoon, you know I'll start sweating." You started to whine at him with a pout on your face.

"I know, but I like your warmth."

"What about the heated blanket?" You were curious because for a short while, Namjoon depended on the blanket.

"It's not the same. Sure it provided me warmth, but I don't feel the sense of security that I feel when I'm holding you. I'll buy you all the air conditioners and fans in the world if it meant you get to keep cool and I get to continue holding you close to me."

Hearing those words made your heart flutter. You were happy to know that he felt safe whenever you were around and it was wild how you didn't think of just getting an AC or a fan so you can come to a compromise. You gave Namjoon a big hug and laid on top of him, becoming his personal heater. The next day, you ordered the AC and you were able to keep cuddling Namjoon during the night without worrying about breaking out into a sweat.
