[Thai Time] || Ten

Ten has always wanted to bring you to Thailand with him to visit his home country. You both finally had time so you took a vacation there. You've been wanting to go there even before you met Ten, but being with him made the desire stronger. Once you landed, you took a big breath of fresh air. The weather was perfect and you instantly felt relaxed despite the long flight. After spending the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, the next day you went to all of his childhood spots and you got to learn more about him. You went to visit his family and of course, the nerves kicked in.

"You've told them about me right?"

"Of course I have. You really thought I kept this relationship a secret?"

"I mean I don't know." You shrugged your shoulders and raised your hands in defense.

"They'll love you, trust me. They already love you but they'll love you even more."

"We'll see about that."

He rang the bell and your hands started to get clammy. You started to frantically wipe your hands down the front of your pants and Ten took notice. He gently grabbed your hands and held them in his own. He whispered, "Remember I'll be right there next to you." Hearing that reassurance really made the difference because you started to calm down.

His mother opened the door and immediately engulfed you in a hug first, ignoring Ten's whining. She then lead you both inside where the rest of the family was. There were even some extended family there visiting so you got to meet them as well. You were there for lunch, and you spent more time than you were planning on. You got to see Ten's baby pictures, which was his least favorite part of that visit.

You watched the sunset together with Ten on the balcony. The colors in the sky left you speechless. It was a beautiful sight that pictures wouldn't do it justice. You hear a camera shutter sound and turn to see Ten with his phone facing you.

"Hey, if you're going to take a picture at least let me know first."

"Sorry, babe. You just look really beautiful so I had to."

You spent a few minutes taking pictures of each other and then some together. After leaving, you were about to leave when dinner was almost ready. His family wanted you to stay a longer. You looked over at Ten and he was already making his way to the dinner table. You simply followed suit and sat next to him. The rest of the evening was spent with good food and amazing stories. You laughed a lot and you really enjoyed your time.

On the drive back to the hotel, you gushed about how friendly his family was. He almost said, 'I told you so', but once he saw your bright smile, he decided to hold off on that. You fell in love with his country and he fell harder in love with you.
