You were the right hand for Prince Jung Jaehyun, the next in line for the throne. You were always there whenever he wanted something, most of the time he called you to keep him company. It is currently winter and over night, it snowed. It is snowing very lightly and you looked outside your window, watching the small snowflakes cascade from the sky. You stretched and made your way over to the prince's room to wake him up. When you arrived, you were surprised to see him already awake.

"You're up already, sir?"

"____, you know that you can be informal with me."

"I know, but it feels like I'm being impolite if I do so."

"Trust me, it's fine when it's only us. After that, it's formal."

"Alright then...Jaehyun."

He smiled when you said his name. His infamous dimples poked out and he turned his attention to the window once again.

"We should build a snowman."

"A what now?"

"You know, a snowman."

"I know what a snowman is. Why so suddenly? Did you watch that movie again?"

"No...well at least not last night I didn't."

You chuckled and rolled your eyes.

"You really want to build a snowman huh?

He turned to you, nodding eagerly. You looked towards his closet, wondering if he has the right attire for the cold weather.

"Alright but-"

"Yay, let's go!"

He was quick to hug you and almost left the room, but turned around to see you still standing in his room.

"What are you waiting for?"

"We're both still in our pajamas."

He looked down and saw that he was, in fact, still in his pajamas. He rushed to his closet, finding the right clothes. You helped him with finding his gloves and boots and then he dragged you to your room so you can get ready. He waited patiently as you got changed. Once you put on your hat, Jaehyun immediately grabbed your hand and ran out, dragging you along.

As you two are running down the extravagant hallway of the castle, you ask about breakfast. He answers back, saying that he'll eat after playing outside. You didn't even bother putting up a fight, knowing he stands with his idea. He pushed the door to the garden and bounced around the snow. You couldn't hide the wide smile forming on your face. He was a big kid at heart and it made you happy seeing him happy.

"Are you just gonna stand there or what?"

"Don't you sass me."

You walked over to him and started to form the snowman. You went to find tree branches for the arms and little pebbles for the eyes and mouth. You turned to see him forming another snowman.

"You're making another one?"

"Yeah, one for you and one for me. Every snowman needs a friend, right?"

You smiled, feeling your cheeks heat up. You quickly placed the pebbles on the first snowman and put the branches into place. You finished up the second snowman while Jaehyun went to find more branches and pebbles. He came back and told you to close your eyes. After a few moments, he told you to open them. You looked at the snowmen, seeing that they are holding hands. The stomach of the snowmen had each of your initials. You walked to Jaehyun's snowman, carefully poking a hole on either side of the face to represent his dimples.

He laid his head on your shoulder, admiring the spectacle in front of you two. You leaned your head so it was laying on his. You stood like that for a few minutes, before hearing your stomach grumble.

"I think we should eat breakfast now."

"Yeah, we should."

You both cleaned the snow off your boots and made your way inside for breakfast. It was moments like this that made you stay in the castle. You have been offered opportunities to go for a different dynasty but they wouldn't come close to how you experience life with the Jung dynasty. Jaehyun made everything worth while. He made you feel like royalty, having you be his special guest to all of the balls. Maybe one day, he'll ask for your hand in marriage but only time will tell. Possibly, you will have that fairytale moment one day. But for now, you'll be his right hand person.
