[Flirting by the Poolside] || Ten

Your little cousin has been dying to learn how to swim and now that the summer season was finally approaching, it was about time you took them to the best in town. For them, they got to learn how to swim. For you, you got to make heart eyes at the swim instructor, Ten. He's the captain of the swim team at your school and when you found out that he offers swimming lessons, you knew this would be the perfect opportunity.

"Hi Ten! This is my little cousin. They've been dying to learn how to swim so I had to take them to the best there is."

"Oh stop ____, you're making me blush."

"It's the truth."

"Well c'mon little one, let's get you into some floaties and we'll start our lesson okay?" Your cousin nodded and grabbed Ten's hand as he led them to get goggles and floaties for their arms. You sat on one of the chairs lined up by the pool, watching your cousin learn to swim in glee. You nearly got caught staring at Ten one too many times but you couldn't help it.

You didn't realize that the lesson was over for the day until your cousin was waddling over to you.

"How was your first swim lesson, sweetie?"

"It was amazing! Ten says one day I can become the next Olympic champion!"

"You definitely can if you want to be."

You dry off their body with a towel and Ten makes his way over to the two of you. There's something about him post swim that you find so attractive. Maybe it's the drops of water falling from his hair or how the sheen of the water makes him glow. Whatever it is, this was a view you would never get tired of seeing.

"They did such a great job for their first lesson." Ten praised as he gave your cousin a high five.

"Well talent does run in the family."

"So does beauty." Ten mumbled that under his breath but you still heard him.

"When is the next lesson?" Your cousin is bouncing in excitement, already in anticipation for the next session.

"How does same time next week work for you?"

"It works out great! Right ___?"

"Works perfectly. Say thank you to Ten before we go."

"Thanks Ten, you're the bestest teacher ever!" Your cousin gave him a hug before taking off to put on their shorts and sandals.

"Ten, I can't thank you enough for doing this. How can I ever repay you?"

"You can by going on a date with me."

You were definitely taken by surprise. You always had a crush on him but you never thought he would feel the same way. Quickly gaining composure, you nodded your head and set up the day for the following day for brunch.

"Alright Ten, it's a date."

"It's a date."

Your cousin came back and said bye to Ten before heading towards the exit. You bid him goodbye and as you walked away, you had to pinch yourself to make sure you weren't in dream land. It was a win situation for everyone. Your cousin is learning how to swim and you're going on a date. You'll definitely clear your calendar to make sure that you are the only one taking your cousin to the swim lessons so you can see Ten every week. If you're lucky, maybe you'll do more flirting in other places besides by the pool.
