[Single Ladies] || Seungkwan

If you asked anyone about Seungkwan, everyone will talk about his singing capability. You've known Seungkwan for as long as you can remember and he'll always sing whatever song appears in his head. One time though, you two were out together and the strangest thing happened.

You two were going to this new coffee shop that Seungkwan just had to try and he was very excited. He was so excited that he felt like singing one of his favorite artist's songs. That song just so happened to be "Single Ladies" by Beyoncé.

"All the single ladies, now put your hands up!"

Out of no where, all the women (who you assume are single) raised up their hands. You and Seungkwan stop walking and look around.

"Seungkwan, I know I called you the god of entertainment that one time but I didn't think you had to prove your powers to me."

"I-I didn't do that...or at least I don't think I did."

"Do you really think this is a coincidence?"

"I'm not sure."

Seungkwan is frozen, not knowing what to do.

"Maybe if you sing the song again but change the words it'll work."

"It's worth a shot."

He clears his throat and sings, "All the single ladies, now put your hands down."

In an instant, all of their hands go back down and they go about their business in confusion. You two look at each other, trying to piece it all together.

"Seungkwan, do you know what this means? You can sing your wishes to come true! You can sing that billionaire song, become a billionaire and redistribute the wealth!"

"Woah, slow down ____, I've done a lot already."

"You barely started."

"I know but I'm afraid now."

"Why?"

"My songs, how am I supposed to perform?"

"Easy, you get on stage and sing and dance."

Seungkwan gave you a certain look and you put your arms up in surrender.

"Okay, maybe it's not that easy."

"You think?"

"Hey! Don't start having an attitude with me now."

"I'm sorry, it's just...this is all so weird."

"Very weird considering this has never happened before. Maybe it only happens when you don't have to sing intentionally."

"I hope you're right."

The next day, you went to visit him at dance practice and he told you that while he was singing, nothing happened.

"I guess it doesn't work with your songs."

"Thank goodness because I don't know how I would feel if stuff happened while at a concert or music show."

"Well for starters, you would be trending every comeback."

"You only think about positives, don't you?"

"I try." You say while pretending to flip your hair.

He rolled his eyes at you before returning to rehearsal. Another day, he was over at your place. He was in the living room and you were in the kitchen getting snacks and drinks for the two of you. You barely hear it but you somehow managed to hear him softly sing, "It's not a bad thing to fall in love with me."

"Hey Seungkwan."

"Y-yes?"

"Any songs on your mind lately?"

"N-not really, why?"

"You weren't just singing a second ago?"

"Nope! No...maybe you heard the tv."

You squint at him, knowing he's lying. You decide to ignore it and bring everything back to where he was.

"You know, it's not a bad thing to fall in love with you because I already have."

Seungkwan spits out the drink and turns to you with a shocked expression.

"So you heard me?"

You nod your head.

"Did you say that because of the song or...?"

"I've liked you for quite a while now."

"Really?"

You nod your head again.

"Looks like I didn't need the song after all."

"Not at all."
