Everyone, including you, joked that Jin would buy out BigHit Entertainment. Little did you know, he would actually do it. Well, not really buying it but he would become the next person in charge. The CEO was stepping down and he personally asked Jin to take his spot. Considering his father is a CEO himself, he would be following his father's footsteps. It would be weird to think that one day he was just your boyfriend and now he may also be your boss.
Since Jin knew that his work will become more intensive, he wanted to make sure that he got to see you every day. If there wasn't a department for what you specialize in, you bet your bottom dollar that he made one and put you in charge of it. If there is, then you were immediately put on that board. Either way, you're happy to be apart of the Big Hit family.
It was a bit strange because you have to be professional with him but knowing Jin, he couldn't care less if he called you 'babe' in a business meeting. After all, no one can tell him that he can't. He tells you over and over that you don't have to be super professional with him and the members.
Jin, being super enthusiastic about this new change, he threw a big company party. Everyone from the company and their family and friends were there and everyone was having a grand time. You didn't leave Jin's side as many people came up to him to say their congratulatory remarks. As the night winded down and you both were going home, you looked over at him as he was driving. Once at a red light, he turns his head to look back at you.
"You know I'm proud of you right?"
"Of course I do. I took this position for you."
"What do you mean 'for me'?"
"I want you to have everything that your heart desires, even if it meant taking this position so I can hire you. So no more boring jobs because I can promise you that you'll have fun with me in charge."
As the light turned green and he started to drive again, you couldn't help but chuckle. Jin being in charge of a company will be very fun with his chaotic self but you know that he will do a great job.
"And besides, you're my second in command. So you're running Big Hit with me."
"You wouldn't have one of the members run it with you?"
"I mean they are in a sense but you know how they are. You're more levelheaded compared to them."
You both laughed, knowing that he was right.
"I love you, big boss man."
"I love you too, big boss babe."
