Ever since "Never Gonna Give You Up" was released, you always looked forward to hear that song on the radio. Whenever you were out driving with your boyfriend, Johnny, you would always hope that the song would come on. You would always sing your heart out and Johnny couldn't help but smile and laugh at your excitement.

It was midterm season at university and you weren't in the best of moods because of it. You felt sluggish and Johnny knew that you desperately need some cheering up. Since he often visited your dorm, he knew which building you were in and which window was yours. You were laying in your bed staring at the ceiling when you suddenly heard music coming from outside. As you heard the first few beats, you realized it was your favorite song.

Having a hunch that Johnny is behind this, you opened your window and stick your head out. You look down below to see Johnny holding a boombox in his hands. You smiled widely and ran outside to him. You made it outside and Johnny saw you, setting the boombox on a nearby table.

A crowd started to form as they started to dance around the quad. Johnny extended his hand out to you, silently asking for a dance. You immediately took his hand and started to dance. He did silly dance moves to make you laugh and you danced just like him. Everyone around you two were all laughing and smiling, enjoying the song. As the song came to an end, everyone cheered and walked their separate ways. As the crowd dispersed, you turned to Johnny.

"That was really nice of you Johnny."

"Anything to make you smile babe."

"You really know how to cheer someone up."

"I can't let you be bummed out."

"Well, you gave everyone a boost."

You hugged him and swayed for a little bit, not wanting to leave his embrace. You eventually let go and led him to your dorm room, to give him the much deserved cuddles and kisses.
