[Hug Fest] || Wooyoung

There were many words that you can use to describe Wooyoung. He was very affectionate and as soon as you introduce yourself to each other, he immediately started giving you hugs. You however, aren't so keen on affection but no matter how many times you tell him, he insists on hugging you.

Over time, you've grown to love his affectionate personality. You would never say it to his face but you sometimes look forward to his hugs. You met him in your required science class at university and despite the difference in personalities, you two clicked right away. There has been many time where you have helped each other with work, whether it was for your shared class or one of your respective classes. There was a certain instance where Wooyoung saved you from failing science.

You were in the university's library with some of your friends when Wooyoung rushes over to your table.

"____! We have a problem!" Wooyoung said out of breath.

You sit up straight, eyes widening.

"What problem?"

"I just overheard our professor just now and-"

"Wooyoung...don't say what I think you're about to say."

You look at him silently pleading but he unfortunately nods his head.

"But why? Did you hear anything else?"

"Yeah, something about how they suspect people cheating on the last test or whatever."

You groaned while hitting your head on the wooden table. Wooyoung grabs your head to stop your repeated assault against your forehead as he sits in the empty seat

"____, stop. You're going to hurt your head by doing that."

"I'd rather that than suffer in class later."

"Alright then, your funeral." He said with a shrug. You glared at him and he put his hands up in surrender.

"We have class in what, an hour? That should be good to cram as much as we can."

"But what do we even study?"

Your friends stared between the two of you as neither of you said anything.

"How about you two study whatever was on the last test and whatever you learned recently?" One of your friends spoke.

"You, my friend, are the bane of my existence." You said, pointing at your friend.

"Hey! What about me? They wouldn't have made their suggestion if it weren't for me being at the right place at the right time."

"Wooyoung...no one likes someone stealing all the credit." You said to him while going through your bag to get out your books.

"BUT-"

"Hush, don't be so loud. We're in a library." You said, shushing him with your finger against his lips. He tried to bite that same finger in retaliation but you learned to gain reflexes to avoid his biting.

"I won't stop until you thank me." He said while trying to bite you once again.

"Alright, Alright, thank you Wooyoung."

"There we go, was that so hard?" He asked with a giggle and the two of you got to studying.

After studying as much as you could, you two made the dreadful walk to the classroom. Just as Wooyoung said, the professor announced to the class that they would be taking a pop quiz. You and Wooyoung sneaked a quick glance at each other as the papers were being around. Luck was really in your side because everything you studied was on that quiz. After class finished, you walk out the room with Wooyoung.

"In light of what you did for me, you can hug me for four to five seconds." You said to him.

"FORTY FIVE SECONDS?!" He exclaims, turning to you. You immediately started to shake your head.

"No! Four to five seconds!"

"Too late!" He gives you a big hug and holds you in the middle of the hallway.

"Wooyoung, we're in the middle of the hallway." You said while trying to pry him off of you.

"Okay and?" He holds you for a few more seconds before letting you go.

"I had to enjoy it while it lasted."

"You always hug me."

"Yeah but this is the first time you offered a hug."

"That's true, yeah."

Although you acted like you hated every second of that hug, you were secretly glad that he misheard you.
