The concept of a soulmate was something that was highly valued. Since whatever you write on your skin appears on your soulmates as well, people would start with a basic doodle and it'll blossom from there. A lot of people would fall in love with their souls before they meet them in person. You on the other hand, well, let's just say you weren't in love yet.

The first time you doodled on your skin, you were drawing a star. You did it absentmindedly but the next time you look at your hand you see someone else's handwriting. It reads 'lame.' You immediately turn to your friends, ready to accuse them but they all said that it wasn't them and that it could be your soulmate.

"Well my soulmate is rude."

You took your pen and wrote 'well I'm not Picasso, you art critic.'

You were finally home by the time your soulmate responded to your comment. They said 'well this art critic has a name.'

You hoped that your soulmate would do cute doodles and write motivational messages but all you get is teasing. You later find out that his name is Yunho. There were days where he was actually nice to you but most of the time, he teased you. Despite how annoying he can be, you always looked forward to his messages. You took it a step forward by asking for his number which he happily gave you.

You two would constantly facetime and he would still annoy you with messages on your skin. If you weren't responding to his calls or texts, he would resort to writing on himself, knowing you'll peel your eyes away from whatever you're doing to see what he wrote. There have been many instances where on your hand, you would see 'pay attention to me.' Each and every time you would roll your eyes and sigh, wondering if he's like this with his friends.

Yunho told you one day that he'll be in town and that you have to meet up. You happily agreed and decided to meet at your favorite diner for lunch. You stand outside waiting for him and a few moments later, you see him across the street running at full speed towards you. You brace yourself for the impact but he lifts you off the ground instead of being tackled to the ground.

"You're real!"

"Well duh, of course I am!"

Yunho was just a big ball of energy and he's exactly the way he portrayed himself the first time you had an encounter. While you two ate, you shared many stories, including the time you first spoke. Although you didn't fall for him at the very beginning, you could definitely see it happening as time goes by.
