Old friends - with Bishop

Request: "Would you two just kiss and admit you love each other already?!" With Bishop Losa!!

You are walking out of the coffee shop with your precious drink in hand making a mental checklist of all the things you need to get done today when someone calling your name ruins your chain of thought. You look around puzzled, turning behind you, you see a familiar face

"Bishop?" you ask, your breath catching in your throat

"Yeah" he says walking towards you "I know I've aged a bit, but you on the other hand haven't aged a day"

You give Bishop a hug "it's good to see you" you say quickly pulling away

"You too, it's been too long. what are you doing here?" he asks

"I have a friend that lives here, I just got divorced and she invited me to stay with her until I got things sorted" you reply, eyes taking Bishop in, including the motorcycle kutte he is wearing

Pointing to his patch "How is Marcus?"

"He's doing good, he's in town you should stop by the clubhouse tonight, we're having a party, I'm sure he would love to see you"

"That would be nice, I would like to catch up with some old friends" you reply

"Yeah old friends" Bishop replies studying your face "well the party starts around 8 so whenever you want to come by" Bishop leans in kissing you on the cheek and turns to walk away

"Bishop?" you call out after him

He turns back to you "Where is your clubhouse?" you ask

"oh, right" he says laughing "it's in the old scrapyard, I'll see you later Y/N"

You watch as Bishop crosses the street, climbing onto a motorcycle parked across the street "what have you gotten yourself into Y/N?" you mutter under your breath

Later that night you pull up at the scrapyard, jumping out of your car you say a silent prayer. Walking into the yard you notice all the scantily clad young women, feeling overdressed in your jeans and t-shirt, you take a deep breath looking around for Bishop. Your eyes fall onto a familiar face standing at the bottom of some stairs in front of what you assume is the clubhouse "Y/N!" he yells across the yard throwing his arms open

You just laugh walking over "Riz!" you exclaim throwing your arms around your friend pulling him close, you stand there hugging for a few minutes before he pulls away

"it's been too long" He says smiling down at you "let's get you a drink" Riz wraps his arm around your shoulders walking you up the stairs and into the clubhouse.

Inside you see Marcus and Bishop sitting at a table drinking beers and playing poker, Riz leads you over "Look who I found outside"

Marcus and Bishop look up seeing you standing there Marcus stands up "Princesa" embracing you and kissing your forehead "how are you?" he asks offering you his chair

"I'm okay" you say sitting down and Riz brings you a beer, Marcus waves everyone at the table away and you spend the night catching up with him. Every time you look up you catch Bishop watching you, causing the butterflies in your stomach to go crazy.

The party starts to wind down and Bishop comes over joining you and Marcus, then Riz and Taza and a few men you don't know. Marcus introduces you to the men you don't know

"Angel, Gilly and Coco, this is Y/N"

"Hey"

"Hey" they say nodding at you

"So how do you know everyone?" Angel asks you

"Marcus and Bishop were friends with my older brother, and I was the annoying kid sister they could never shake" you say laughing "then Riz started hanging around and Taza I met a few years later"

"Well you came in handy, Y/N has stitched us all up more than once" Riz says

"You a nurse?" Gilly asks

"Doctor" Bishop replies before you can answer smiling at you from across the table

You all sit around sharing stories of the good old days and catching up, soon all the guys drift off with various women or to pass out, it's just you and Bishop left at the table

"Do you want to go outside?" he asks, "for some fresh air"

You just nod standing up and you both walk silently outside, the yard has cleared out since you arrived and you make your way over to a picnic table, sitting on the table and putting your feet on the bench, Bishop sits down next to you and you both sit there in silence, sneaking glances at each other out of the corner of your eyes.

"It was good to see you tonight" he says looking at you

Turning your head towards him "Yeah it was, it was great to catch up with old friends" you reply, "Maybe we can do it again?"

"Oh yeah, I'm sure Riz and Taza would love that" he says nodding

You try to hide your disappointment, but Bishop catches the look on your face

"What's wrong?" he asks reaching for your hand

"Nothing" you say shaking your head

"Would you two just kiss and admit you love each other already?!" you hear Riz's voice from behind you

Both you and Bishop turn around to glare at him, your face turning bright red, you can feel the blood pulsing in your ears

"Twenty years you've had a crush on each him maybe you should just kiss and get it over with" he says walking past you

You watch him walk into the clubhouse, you can't bear to look at Bishop, you are so full of rage at Riz for outing your crush on Bishop

"I should be going" you say standing up and stepping off the bench

"Wait, Y/N" you keep walking "Wait" he says following you

You've now reached your car and you notice you are crying, trying to unlock your car you drop your keys. Bishop bends down picking your keys up

"Hey, look at me" he says softly, he reaches for your cheek tilting your face up towards him brushing your tears away

"I'm going to kill Riz" you mutter

"So, you've had a crush on me for twenty years?" he says softly

You don't reply, Bishop leans forward kissing you softly and sliding his hand behind your neck pulling you closer "well we clearly have lost time to make up for, because I've been in love with you from the moment I first saw you" he says kissing you deeper
