Emmeth found himself drinking again. The same bar where he met his life. Where he heard her beautiful voice. Where their first kissed happened. Where his heart been taken unknowingly.
His heart ached like being stubbed million times just by looking at the same platform where he used to saw her performing with her band mates. He's breathing hard, he wanted to shout out loud to ease the pain he's dealing with but not even a single voice came out from his lips. He didn't realize tears where already falling from his eyes until someone punched him on his arm.
"Kaya mo yan cry baby" It was Rick.
He took a quick glance on him then take another gulf from the bottled beer on his hand.
"How did you find me?" Emmeth heaved a sigh.
"Just a guess. I heard what happened. Be strong man. This bottle won't help you" Then Rick snatched the bottled beer from Emmeth's grip.
"I just want to relax" ani Emmeth.
"Relax? By getting drunk? You're just putting yourself in much more trouble. Remember what happened to me after being drunk? Alcohol won't help you. Come on let's go" ani Rick.
"And where are we going?" pagtanggi ni Emmeth nang inalalayan na siyang tumayo ni Rick.
"Your home. Take a sleep, then tomorrow, we're going to search for her"
Emmeth didn't say a thing. Rick was right, It's Rick who drove his car to his home.

After few more days of not receiving any good news, Emmeth started losing hope.
"I think Emmeth need a break. He need to go somewhere to relax for a while. To recharge" suggestion ni Colbie one time.
That day after nang muli nilang paghahanap, and still, nothing happened.
If Colbie was affected, much more kila Mint at Emmeth.
But more on, si Emmeth ang nakikita nilang nahihirapan. Madalang na itong magsalita. Basta mag iikot ng mag iikot then tahimik na after that and it bothers them.
"Sa palagay ko nga" Pag sang-ayon ni Mint sa suggestion ni Colbie.
"And you too. Nag aalala na ko sayo" Tinabihan ni Colbie sa sofa ang dalaga at inakbayan. Inihilig naman ni Mint ang ulo niya sa balikat ni Colbie saka pumikit.
Nakakapagod pero hindi sila pwedeng sumuko. Ngayon pang alam nilang posibleng buhay talaga si Max. Hindi siya papayag na hindi makita ang kapatid.
"Saan naman tayo pwedeng pumunta?" tanong ni Mint.
"I know a place. Sa lugar ng mga lola ko. It's a province na malapit sa dagat. Magugustuhan niyo don. Makakapag relax and recharge tayong lahat don" ani Colbie.
"Can we invite anyone else" tanong ni Mint.
"Oo naman. I'm actually planning to asked you that. Asked the whole gang" ani Colbie na ikinasaya ni Mint. It's been a long time since nakasama niya si Vien. Though hindi niya naging close sina Cheska most especially si Katelyn, she would like to spent time with them dahil girlfriend ang mga ito ng mga taong naging kaibigan narin niya. Sina Rick, Niel and Uno.
Umayos ng upo si Mint saka humarap kay Colbie "okay, I'll message them. Kailan tayo magbabakasyon?"
"This weekend. Ipapahanda ko muna yung magiging mga rooms natin don"
Halata sa muka ni Mint ang excitement dahil narin sa hindi naman talaga ito nagbabakasyon. After so many things that happened in her life, taking a vacation never crossed her mind. And if ever, what's the reason. She can't be happy. She can pretend but she can't fool herself.

Ayaw sumama ni Emmeth sa napag planuhang vacation trip nina Mint at ng buong barkada pero wala itong nagawa nang puntahan siya ng mga ito sa mismong trabaho niya.
And now he's packing his things for three days vacation sa province nila Colbie.
"JZ, is everything ready?" his mom who came back yesterday.
"Yes mom" walang buhay na sagot niya.
"Son" ramdam ni mommy Cynthia ang pinagdadaanan nito kahit pa hindi ito magsabi "I think you really need this. Hindi naman sa sinasabi ko o nila na mag saya ka, gusto lang namin na makapag relax ka sandali. Don't stress yourself too much. Darating ang panahon na makikita mo din si Max. Sigurado yon"
Humugot ng isang malalim na buntung hininga si Emmeth bago nagsalita.
"I know mom. Pero nawawalan ako ng pag asa sa tuwing walang nangyayari sa lakad namin. Sa tuwing wala akong natatanggap na magandang balita sa mga tao ko. It's like the world is hiding her from me. Destiny won't let us to be together. Is it my karma mom" he stopped from what he's doing and lean on his bed.
"No son. You just loved. You've made mistakes but that doesn't mean that whatever is happening to you right now is a karma. It's not yet the right time. Yan ang sigurado ako. Pero magkikita at magkikita kayo. At kapag naniwala kang mangyayari yon, mangyayari yon. At kung talagang mahal mo siya----hinding hindi ka susuko kahit anong mangyari" Ang payo ni mommy Cynthia.
Emmeth hug his mom tightly. Her words help him a lot. No one in this world can make him feel better than her mom----and Max.
He will never stop.
Kahit pa sa dulo ng mundo. Hahanapin niya si Max.
"Ako na tatapos niyang ginagawa mo. Maligo ka na at maya maya ay aalis na kayo. Kakatawag lang ni Mint at siniguradong makakasama ka"
"Thanks mom" he get up and went inside his bathroom.
Habang naliligo ay naglalaro sa isip niya ang muka ni Max. A face that hides so many emotions yet captured him. A woman who loves to wear jeans and shirt instead of dress and heels. A woman who loves her bike and putting herself in danger because of racing. A woman who rarely smile but when she does, he melted. A woman who never say what she feels. A woman who had strong personality and yet, he find her sweet.
The woman he truly love from then till now.
