Part 68

Ginny, Hermione and I walk around the Weasly's Wizard Wheezes. Harry and Ron walk around here somewhere too, I am not quite sure where. We are standing by a pink fountain, it is really pretty. There are little bottles in the fountain. I pick one up to look at it but as I do I hear the twins say "Hello, ladies." I look up and so do Hermione and Ginny. "Love potions, eh?" George asks "Yeah, they really do work." Fred finishes. "Then again, the way we here it, sis and Olive, you're doing just fine on your own." I giggle, but stop when I realize he also mentioned Ginny. What does he mean by that? "Meaning?" Ginny asks what the three of us had been thinking. "Are you not currently dating Dean Thomas?" George asks, I look over my shoulder and see Harry standing behind them, with a shocked and dissapointed look on his face. "It's none of your business." Ginny says putting the bottle she was holding back into the fountain, then walking away. I put mine back to and walk towards Harry, who is walking away. "Harry, wait." I say quickening my walk. I grab his hand and turn him to face me. "Are you alright?" I ask quietely. "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" he asks "Well, because of Dean and-" I start but realize he know what I mean so I stop talking. Hermione walks over to us and I see Ron standing on the stairs with Fred and George. "How much for this?" he asks "Five Galleons." both Fred and George say "How much for me?" again they say "Five Galleons." "I'm your brother." the twins look at each other and shrug "Ten Galleons." they say and turn around to walk further up the stairs. I giggle. I love the twins, like for real, they are the best. "Come on, let's go." Ron says turning to us, then he walks down the stairs. We start to walk towards the exit. "Hi, Ron." a girl says as we walk by, I have seen her around but I don't quite know who she is if I am being honest. "Hi." he says unsure but keeps walking. We walk out of the store. It is quiet outside, everyone is in the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, all the rest of the stores are closed. It is pretty depressing, really. "How are Fred and George doing it? Half the Alley's closed down." Hermione says as we make our way down the Alley. "Fred reckons people need a laugh these days." Ron replies. "I reckon he is right." Harry agrees. We walk past Ollivander's store. It is also closed, very sad. I got my wand here: A sycamore wood with a unicorn hair core, 12 1/4 inches and slightly springy flexybility. "Oh no. Everyone got their wands from Ollivander's." Hermione says who also noticed the shop. "Maybe we can look inside?" I suggest. We walk to the door and Harry pushes it open. The door opens, to my shock. Why is the door unlocked? It is a complete mess. The windows are broken, glass all over the floor, wand boxes everywhere, not like they used to be. "Harry?" Ron says, I don't really pay attention to what he was going to say but then I hear Draco. "Draco?" I say, Ron turns around. "Yeah, him and his mom are sneaking around." Ron says, Hermione and I now standing next to him to see. "What is he doing?" I ask. "Let's follow them." Hermione says and we rush out of Ollivander's to follow them. They quickly walk through a dark alley, I hate this. I don't have a good feeling about this. We walk past a man who is facing the wall, mumbling to himself. I never knew this was part of Diagon Alley, it creeps me out. Draco and his mom make a turn and walk down a couple of steps. I peak around the corner to see where they are going. They walk into a shop. "Look, maybe we can look through that window." Ron says pointing at a huge window. We nod and climb the roof of another house. We lay down as low as we can to not be seen. I see Draco, standing in the middle of a room looking at a cabinet. He runs his hand over one side of it, kind of inspecting it. "What do you think he is doing?" Ron asks me. "How should I know?" I hiss back "He is your boyfriend." "He is not." I say a little to loud, a man walks up to the window and we duck. After a few seconds we come back up to look again, but the curtains are closed now. "Bloody." Ron says. I sigh, but get off the roof, it was not really comfortable anyway. "We can better go before they catch us." I say turning my head to look if no one was watching us. "She is right." Harry agrees and also slides off the roof. Hermione and Ron do the same, Ron helping Hermione off. How cute."Back to the Burrow?" Ron asks. Harry nods. We get back to the Burrow, Fred, George and Ginny are already back. "Where did you go?" Ginny asks as we walk into the kitchen. "We went to take a walk around the Alley." I say quickly. "Well, you are just in time for dinner. Now sit down before it all gets cold." Molly says walking to the table with a pan. "Yes mom." Ron says and we all take a seat. After dinner I thank Molly for it, then walk to my room. "What do you think he was doing? And what was that cabinet?" I ask Hermione who walked into the room a couple of minutes after me. "I don't know. I have never seen such a cabinet before. But maybe you can ask him about it tomorrow? On the train? Or at school." she says. I nod. "Yeah, I will try. I hope he tells the truth." I say "But then you have to tell him you followed him and his mom." "Right, I didn't think about that. Maybe he will tell me himself?" I say.
