"Hermione, help me with my hair please!" I say. Ginny, Hermione and I are getting ready for Slughorn's party. "Okay, okay hold on. First zip my dress for me please!" she says turning her back to me so I can zip her up. I do so and she helps me putting my hair in a low ponytail. "Ready?" Ginny says after a while. We nod. "Girls, we look so good." "Now, Hermione, are you going to tell us who you are going with?" "Cormac." she says. "Cormac?! Seriously?" I ask "Yes I am, I couldn't think of anyone else." "Hermione! Really?" I say. "Yes!" Harry walks into our room. Looking at Hermione, but Ginny catches his eyes and they stay on her. I walk over to Harry, nodging his side, making him stop staring at Ginny. "You were staring, don't do that." "Well let's go." she says and we walk to the common room. Where Lavender, Ron, Dean, Cormac, Fred and George are sitting. "Hey." I say, making them look at us. Cormac stands up and walks to Hermione. "You look good." he whispers, almost to soft for me to hear. "You were right sis." Fred says, his eyes locked on me. "She does look good in that dress." I blush. "Nahw, thank you Fred." "You do, Olivia." George says, smiling at me. "You are too sweet." I say playing with my ring. Does Draco still wear his?  "Ready to go?" Harry asks. We all nod and we make our way to the party. We walk through the halls, Harry and I arm in arm. Hermione walking beside us, Cormac and her agreed on meeting each other at the party. "Why did you decide to go with Cormac, Hermione?" I ask her. "Wait you are going with Cormac?" "Yes. But I don't know why. He likes me so I thought it would be fun. But now I am kind of regretting it." she replies. I giggle and Harry chuckles. Hermione slaps his arm making him stop chukling. We get to SLughorn's party spot, and walk in the room. It is pretty, but not my kind of party, to be honest. I normally don't really party but when I do, it is way different than this. "Ah, my boy. Glad to see you made it." Slughorn says shaking Harry's hand, ignoring me and Hermione. There aren't that many students yet, so it was easy for Hermione to spot Cormac and turn away to walk the opposite direction. Harry and Slughorn are still talking so I decide to walk over to Hermione, help her avoid Cormac. "Why did you bring him, if you are going to ignore him the whole time?" I giggle, "Like I said, I couldn't think of anyone better." "Hey, there you are!" Ginny says, her eyes are red. "What happened?" I ask, putting my hand on her shoulder. She shakes her head. "Did you and Dea-" I start, "Yes." she replies before I can even finish the sentence. Someone touches my shoulder. I look at them. "Hey, Neville! What are you doing here?" "Serving. Want some?" he replies, holding out a silver plate to me. "No thanks, does not look really appealing, sorry." I say. He shakes his head. "It doesn't, does it?" he chuckles. "Not really." I giggle, then he walks away again. Hermione is now gone, Ginny is back with Dean and Harry is also no where to be found. There are now a lot more students, even students I don't even know. I walk through the room, trying to find Hermione or Harry, or both. I see Harry dive into the curtains, I follow him and see that Hermione is also standing behind them. "Hermione, what are you doing? And what happened to you?" Harry says, I slip behind the curtains as well. Hermione is fixing her hair when I do. "No, I've just escaped. I mean, I left Cormac under the mistletoe." I giggle. "I thought it would annoy Ron the most. But it just annoyes me." she says, to my shock. I just thought she brought him because she couldn't think of anyone else. "He's got more tentacles than a Snarfalump plant." she says, then a student pulls open the curtains and holds out a plate. "Dragon tartare?" he asks. "No thanks." I say. "No, I'm fine. Thank you." Hermione also says, Harry just shakes his head. "Just as well. They give one horribly bad breath." "On second thought..." Hermione says, grissing the whole plate out of his hand. Then she stuffs her mouth full with the tartare, "..might keep Comrac at bay." she takes another bite then pushes the plate into Harry. "Oh, God, here he comes." and gone is she. Cormac then opens the curtains and stands next to me. "I think she just went to powder her nose." Harry tells him, I snort and quickly put my hand over my mouth not to burst into laughter. Cormac looks at me then turns back to Harry. "Slippery little minx, your friend." he says to us. "Likes to work her mouth too, doesn't she?" he grabs the plate from Harry and starts eating. "Yeah, yeah, yeah." Could you not talk when your mouth is full of Dragon tartare? Or any food of that matter.  "What is this I'm eating, by the way?" "Dragon balls." I say casually. Cormac looks at me in disgust. Then Snape agressively opens the curtains and looks at the three of us, a little too long at me, for my liking. Then Cormac pukes over his shoes, I start to giggle. Snape jerks his head towards me, and gives me an unapproved look. Turning his attention back to Cormac he says: "You just bought yourself a month's detention, McLaggen." I put, once again, my hand over my mouth and slip through the curtains back into the room, Harry tries to do the same but Snape stops him. "Not so quick, Potter." I turn to face Harry, he shakes his head and waves me off. I turn back around and try to find Hermione again.
