Harry, Ron and I are standing on the side of a hall, a crowded hall that is. We had a free period, so we decided to just hang in the halls. "Mr. Davies. Mr. Davies, that is the girls lavitory." McGonagall says, who is standing in the middle of the hall, students walking around her. "Potter." she than says "Oh, this can't be good." Harry says stepping off of the edge we are standing on, to walk to her. Ron and I stay standing and look at them. "What do you think she wants?" I whisper to Ron, he shrugs. "Potter!" she says after a minute to catch his attention again, since he was starting to walk away. "Take Weasley and Soulton with you. They look far too happy." I giggle. "Pff, I am not happy at all professor." I say making Ron laugh. "Come on, you two. We need to take potions for extra credits." Harry says as he walks over to us agian. "I don't want to take potions." Ron whines "This is Quidditch trials coming up. I need to practice." I don't mind, I know Draco is in it too. More time to spend with my boyfriend, I mean who wouldn't want that right? "I don't think Olivia minds at all." I shake my head. "I don't, really. Draco is in it too." I inform them "Of course he is, little prick." "Hey, don't talk about him like that!" I slab Ron on his arm. We walk into the potions classroom and see professor Slughorn standing on the other side of a table with his back to the door. "... is the prerequisite of all plannign." he says. Draco smiles at me. Slughorn must've noticed either Draco's smile or our footsteps, 'cause he turned around. "Ah. Harry, my boy, I was beginning to worry. We've brought someone with us, I see." he says. "Ron Weasley, sir." Ron says. "Olivia Soulton, sir." I also say. I see the girl from the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes standing beside Hermione, staring at Ron longingly. "But I'm dead awful at Potions, a menace, actually. So, I'm just gonna-" Ron says, Harry moved behind him so he can't leave the classroom. "Nonsense, we'll sort you out. Any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine." I giggle. "No way getting out of this Weasley." I whisper. Ron glares at me, making me giggle again. "Get your books out." Slughorn says. "I haven't actually got my book yet, and nor have Ron and Harry, sir." I say. "Not to worry, get what you want from the cupboard." Slughorn motions to a cupboard near the door, Ron and Harry fly to the cupboard to grab a book. Knowing this would happen I wait. Draco is still looking at me, I can feel it. Harry and Ron push each other out of the way to grab a book. Finally both of them have one, so I can get one. I quickly grab one and walk over to Draco. Hermione looks at me, as if she wanted me to sit with her. 'Sorry' I mouth. "Now, as I was saying, I prepared some concoctions this morning." "When did you decide to join?" Draco whispers leaning closer to me. "I never did, McGonagall told Harry to join and that Ron and I should too." Draco puts his arm around my waist. I lean into him. "Any ideas what these might be?" Slughorn continues. Hermione throws her hand in the air, eager to answer his question. "Yes, Miss.." "Granger, sir." Hermione says and steps up to the table. "That one there is Veritaserum. It's a truth-telling serum. And that one is Polyjuice Potion. It's terribly tricky to make. And this is Amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them. For example, I smell freshly mown grass, and new parchment and spearmint toothpaste." Hermione says, right after she finished she walks back to where she was standing. "Now, Amortentia doesn't create actual love. That would be impossible. But it does cause a powerful infatuation or obsession." girls next to Draco walk towards the cauldron slowly. "And for that reason, it's probably the most dangerous potion in this room." Slughorn puts the lid on the cauldron. The girls snap out of their trans, and step back to their place. Draco chuckles. "Silly girls." he whispers, I giggle. If I hadn't been with him I would've done the same as the girls. "Sir? You haven't told us what's in that one." a girl says pointing to a little bottle hanging on a stand, at the furthest end of the table. There is a transparent liquid in it. "Oh, yes." Slughorn says, bowing over the stand and carefully grabbing the bottle from it. "What you see before you, ladies and gentleman is a curious little potion known as Felix Felicis. But it is more commonly reffered to as-" "Liquid luck." I say, heads jerk my way when I say it. "Yes, Miss Soulton. Luquid luck. Desperately tricky to make, disastrous should you get it wrong. One sip and you will find that all of your endeavors succeed." Slughorn says. I feel that Draco is only now really paying attention to what he is saying. Earlier he was just relaxing, his body is now tense, and his arm isn't around my waist anymore. I look at him, but he is focused on Slughorn. "At least until the effects wear off." Slughorn says and I turn my focus back to him. "So this is what I offer each of you today. One tiny vial of liquid luck to the student who, in the hour that remains, manages to brew an acceptable Draught of Living Death, the recipes for which can be found on page 10 of your books. I should point out, however, only once did a student magage to brew a potion of sufficient quality to claim this prize." Slughorn says raising the hand in which he was holding the Felix Felicis. Draught of Living Death? Is this man mad? I would like to think so. "Nevertheless, good luck to you all. Let the brewing commence." he finishes and Draco pulls me to a nearby table to start working on the potion.
