So this doesn't apply to our rp because your guys (well 8 of them) would be dead.

Aqua brought the plates over to the other five and sat down. Each took a plate and the meal was silent to begin with. It was usually like that then someone would break the silence.

"I can't believe we finally get to leave." Denim was the one to break the silence this time. It had been about a month since they'd taken out the blessed. Even with their magic and heightened healing it had taken them nearly three weeks to fully recover.

Even aqua had admitted that had they not used a surprise attack and taken out multiple group members before the others were alerted, they would have lost. It was far from a fair fight but none of them cared whether or not they fought fair.

By the time they'd recovered from the fight, the war was about over. The darks were quickly gathering land and power. They would win soon so the halfbreeds were told they would be sent free.

"I'm going to miss you guys." Aqua admitted. "we have to keep in touch."

"Why do we have to separate?" Navy asked.  "We're strongest together."

"We also attract the most attention together." Aqua explained.

"So?"

"Even once the war is over there will be people unhappy with the outcome. They might come for us if we are praised as heros. I doubt we will get as much credit as we are promised though." Teal pushed her braid over her shoulder and gazed at the rest of them. "we can stick with our twins and meet up on occasion but I agree with Aqua, it's safest to part ways."

Cobalt only nodded in agreement. It was safest that way.

"What are you going to do when we get out?" Azure changed the topic.

"What do you mean by that?" Denim asked.

"What goals do you have? I think I'd like a family." Azure said. "I think id be really happy with a partner and a kid."

"Can we have kids?" Denim looked at Teal. Teal held a finger to her lips in motion to be silent. It was unlikely that they could have children. Most half breed species could not. They certainly had shown no signs of being able to reproduce but they were also only five.

"It's easy for you to say that. I'm going to have to be chasing girls away with my good looks." Navy said, placing his hands behind his head and leaning back against the wall. "Ladies, there's plenty to go around."

"Yeah. Especially when everyone is willing to pass. You're going to be chasing women, not the other way." Denim snickered.

"Yeah? Then what's your plan, smartass."

Denim shrugged. "I don't know. I want to travel and have fun. I'll see what happens after that. We don't have to rush. We have all the time in the world."

"Perhaps I will join you. I would like to meet with some scholars and extend my knowledge. I will gather it all in one place. Maybe make it available to the common person once it is complete." Teal said.

"You won't publish it unless they give you something in return." Denim teased to which Teal have no response. That was true. She didn't do things for free. Trade knowledge for knowledge.

"What about you Cobalt?" Azure asked.

Cobalt shrugged. "I haven't thought about it. I suppose a wife would be nice, as would travel."

"You have the best magic out of all of us! You could build and rule the first supernatural city or something!" Navy said. "Don't waste it."

"It's not a waste if he enjoys it." Azure waved his hand, dismissing Navy's comment.

Eyes then fell on Aqua. She swallowed her bite of food and looked at the others. "I think I'm going to start a coven."

"A what?" Azure asked.

"A coven. A group of vampires or demons often run by a single coven master. The master provides shelter for the coven members while the members pay or perform various tasks to earn their protection." Teal answered.

Aqua nodded. "I don't want anyone else to grow up the way we did. It's not right. We've taken enough lives, I'd like to help some for a change."

Their conversation was cut short when the door to the room opened and three Adults stood there.

"Denim and Navy, you will be the first released. Follow us." One spoke formally. Denim and Navy got to their feet and followed them out.

"How does this work? Do we get money or something or are you just going to throw us out?" Navy asked but his question was ignored. The Adults only told them what they wanted to say. Being ignored wasn't all that uncommon.

They were taken to a room they had never seen before. There were windows and they could see outside. It was just starting to get dark. What a strange time to be released.

Denim glanced to the side and noticed that even more people were in this room. There were magic cancelling symbols drawn on the wall. This didn't feel right.

Denim glanced behind them in time to see a man about to shove a silver oak stake through Navy's back.

She shoved Navy aside before he could be stabbed. "AQUA! ITS A TRAP!" she shouted, hoping the others could hear her.

They were already blocked into the room at that point. Navy was back on his feet quickly and glanced at Denim before facing the opposite direction. Back to back. They could protect each other's blind side.

Denim counted a total of 12 Adults advancing on her. Each had a silver oak stake. She didn't want to know where they had gotten all of those.

"Damn. Magic won't work." Navy muttered. They'd have to fight out with their fists. They couldn't even revert to their demonic forms since they'd entered looking human.

"Bet I can kill more than you." Denim said.

"Bet you can't." Navy returned.

Despite the challenge, each knew they stood very little chance in this room unless the others arrived.

Aqua did eventually show up. It had been a struggle getting out of their room since magic cancellation had been placed in here as well. Guards were in the halls to try to stop her from getting to the others.

She threw open the door when she finally located Navy and Denim. Bodies littered the floor but more people were still fighting.

She heard a very familiar shout and finally was able to spot Navy and Denim. They'd been backed into opposite sides of the room. Denim was fighting hard still. She didn't see who put the stake into Navy's heart but she saw him fall.

"Aqua!" Denim shouted for help.

Aqua looked at the symbol on the wall that blocked their magic. She rushed over to it and punched the wall as hard as she could. The cracks that formed were enough to break the symbols power.

"Teleport!"

Aqua turned to Denim but it was too late.  Denim tried to activate a spell but the moment she let her guard slip, her attackers stabbed her.

Aqua felt her rage grow. She wanted to slaughter every person in this room....but the rest of her family needed her. She teleported back to the outside of their room and broke down the door.

"We got to go! The war isn't over yet." She told the three remaining.

She held out her arm and each person grabbed her before she teleported to the first location she thought of, the remainder of the Blessed's camp.

"Aqua? What do you mean the war is still going?" Azure asked. "where are the others?"

"Dead. They're going to kill all of us if we don't kill them first."
