Ahri turned her back to Zafir even though she knew he was comfortable changing with her looking at him. She'd seen his body plenty of times before. Still, she knew this was a bit new to him.

Zafir was interested in her culture and she was interested in his. They tried to go back and forth celebrating holidays or other traditions from their lives with each other.

Today was her turn. To start with she'd finally finished making Zafir a set of traditional kitsune clothing. "Are you done yet?" She asked Zafir once it got a little quieter. She wanted to see how he looked.

"I think so." Zafir said, adjusting the clothing a bit. Ahri turned around and gave him a once over before covering her mouth to try to hold back a laugh.

"It might fit better if you didn't have it on backwards. The strap goes over your left shoulder, it gives your right arm more freedom." Ahri informed Zafir. Other than that the outfit looked alright.

Men's clothing wasn't any more covering than the women's clothing was, kitsune generally didn't get too cold. Skirts were common for men but Ahri had made them into shorts so he'd feel more comfortable running beside her as he couldn't shift. They weren't tight around the waist but rather supported by a strap over the shoulder. This strap was generally given threads or pockets to hold knifes and other supplies.

It was a lot more skin than Zafir was used to showing. He felt more naked now than he did being actually naked. He quickly fixed the clothes so they were on the right way this time. Ahri was wearing her traditional kitsune two piece as well.

"Today is the day you take your young on their first hunt." Ahri informed Zafir. "But for families without hunting pups, it's a day to gather the whole pack and hunt together. It's an important day of bonding and usually ended with a feast."

"I'm not much of a hunter, Doc." Zafir reminded her. They'd done alright when camping before but Ahri usually was the one to catch the prey. He just helped her track it down or scared it towards her.

"Hunters don't always need to bite." Ahri chuckled. "The adults will herd rabbits or squirrels towards the pups for their first hunt. All they have to do is pounce. The adults hunt just as much as the pup did."

Ahri approached Zafir and helped him adjust the strap so it rested comfortably on his chest then slipped the knife she'd gifted him into the holder. "How does it feel? It's not too tight anywhere is it?"

"No, it fits fine." Zafir said. "It looks great, you did a good job."

Ahri smiled at his praise. "I think you look very handsome. Like a strong hunter already."

"You think?"

"Yeah." Ahri slid her hand off the strap and rather onto Zafirs chest. She really liked how he looked right now. No one else should see him dressed this way. "Or maybe more like you're ready to be hunted."

It wouldn't hurt to delay themselves for just a few minutes. Ahri guided Zafir into a kiss, slowly letting her hands wander up to the back of his neck.

She parted for a moment to give Zafir a light push onto the couch behind him and climbed into his lap before they returned to their embrace.

Hmm maybe she should have made it a skirt. How flustered would he get having it all hidden like that? An idea for a later day, she supposed.

She pulled away suddenly when she heard the door to the infirmary click open. She looked over her shoulder to see Cherry and Faris standing in the doorway.

"Oh! Um, queen Cherry, this is not what it looks like. Are you hurt?" Ahri got off Zafirs lap and faced the queen, trying not to appear embarrassed despite the heat in her face.
