"Miss Yasmine?"

"Yes?" Yasmine turned to see who has spoken her name. Oh, it was the kitsune. Yasmine had seen her around a couple times but never had gotten her name. "can I help you?"

"My name is Ahri, I'm the healer. I actually- well Im being a bit selfish. I sought you out with a request." Ahri introduced herself.

That was a familiar name. This was Zafirs supposed soul mate. She'd heard all about it from both Zafir and Kassim. It wasn't something she wanted to get in the middle of really, not after Zafir helped her see the truth in her relationship.

"It's nice to meet you Ahri." Yasmine smiled. "What did you want to ask me?"

"Well Zafir, he's a bit secretive around me. I understand it's hard to trust strangers I just thought you may be able to help me a bit."

That didn't sound good. Yasmine mentally prepared herself to say no. She wouldn't say anything about Zafirs past or troubles. Nothing that wasn't her place to spill.

"Can you tell me something Zafir likes?"

That's not what she had expected to hear.

"A food or an activity. He always avoids the question when I ask, he says he enjoys whatever I plan. I just want to do something special for him that I know he'll enjoy. Sadiq said you two were very close, I thought you may be able to help?" Ahri asked, giving Yasmine an innocent hopeful look she found impossible to ignore.

This woman was so pure and heartfelt Yasmine was almost jealous for a moment. The boys got such good partners and she got a selfish demon that tried to spell her memories.

"Yeah, I can help you with that." Yasmine agreed. It wouldn't hurt to tell Ahri Zafirs favorite meal. "what did you have in mind?"

"Sadiq, right? It's nice to see you again." Ahri smiled sweetly at the much taller man. Despite Sadiq being quite literally a foot taller than her, she didn't seem intimidated in the slightest. She just greeted him like an old friend.

Sadiq nodded. "Yes. You as well."

"And under much better circumstances this time, yes?" Ahri joked. After all she had met Sadiq when Daniel was dying due to the potion he drank. That wasn't such a good time. This was much better. "You're here for your physical right?"

Everyone joining the guard or military needed to be checked on by a medical professional to be sure their body could handle the strain that came with the job.

Sadiq nodded again. Ahri had heard he was a gentle giant type, she supposed his quiet nature had a lot to do with that name being stuck on him.

"Well, could you undress for me?" Ahri asked, stepping away to lock the infirmary door. If there was an emergency they'd bang and she'd open it. Little cuts could wait.

"Ah, you'll have to take a seat as well. Id like to speak to you face to face." Ahri said with that same grin for her joke. Everything she said seemed to come straight from the heart. She meant every word.

"Just tell me if anything causes you pain or discomfort please." Ahri wouldn't make him converse with her if he'd rather not, she just didn't want to hurt him. She gently tool his arm and started to guide it in different ways, testing out the joints. Her other hand was on his shoulder blade to make sure everything was moving properly. No cracking or popping, that sort of thing.

"I guess this is actually our third time meeting, isn't it?" Ahri recalled. "Though I don't remember much of our first meeting. I was quite drunk."

Sadiq had helped them home from the winter festival. She remembered him carrying Zafir.
