scene: the best date

Elyse + Sitri
Elyse looked at herself in the mirror again. She had braided a few stands of her hair back to keep it out of her face for the date. She wore a cute but simple dress that had been a gift from Rin. The only jewelry she had was from her mother but that was alright, wasn't it?

Maybe Elyse should have asked Cherry to borrow something. Sitri was a count, after all, he was probably used to beautiful noble girls that could afford silk gowns and jewels. 

Elyse tried a few different sitting positions in front of the mirror to decide which would be most flattering at dinner, or she assumed they were going to dinner. She didn't even know, she had left it entirely up to Sitri. Elyse looked at her chest and huffed. Even if certain positions were said to make her chest look twice as big, zero times two is still zero.

Elyse jumped when she heard a throat cleared behind her. She looked up in the mirror and noticed Sitri had appeared.

"Sorry, did I scare you?" Sitri asked Elyse though he didn't sound all that sorry.

"Not at all." Elyse replied, getting to her feet and turning to face Sitri. The puffed up fur on her tail said otherwise.

"And that's why you were lost in thought that you didn't notice I've been standing in the room, watching you?"

Elyse blushed and looked away from Sitri. Had he seen her checking herself out in the mirror?
"You're an ass." She muttered and was only met with a laugh in reply.

"Are you really that nervous, kitten?" Sitri asked Elyse. He gently placed a finger under her chin and guided her to meet his gaze again.

"A little." Elyse admitted. "I don't have good luck with first dates."

"How so?"

"Let's see... My date turned out to be a woman, not a man. My date tried to make me a slave. And my other date wanted to make me a queen of some hybrid super civilizations." Elyse paused, counting them out of her fingers. Yeah, that was the worst of them.

Sitri laughed once again. "You really don't have good luck with first dates hmm? Thank goodness this is our second one then."

"Our second?" Elyse asked. They hadn't gone on any other dates.

"Yeah. I believe our first was when you claimed me as "your demon". Along with the boast about how jealous my sister would be that you got ahold of me first?"

"Sh-shut up!" Elyse did not need to be reminded about that.

"You don't have a problem with second dates, right?" Sitri asked. Elyse shook her head no.

"Then let's go, kitten."

Scilia and Yasmine
"Where are we going Scilia?" Yasmine asked as she walked beside her.
This was Delyra, supernaturals were common, however Lamia still tended to avoid cities since they were so big. Seeing Scilia was still a bit strange and people tended to part to give her way.

"How would I know, I'm blind." Scilia looked in Yasmines direction and grinned. Her making jokes about her blindness wasn't all that uncommon.

"It's a spot I like to go to sunbathe. I would have taken you there earlier but it was too cold in the winter when we first got together." Scilia said. "If you get tired I'll carry you."

"I'm alright." Yasmine assured her.

"Of course you are. You have unlimited stamina. I've seen that myself~"
