Dual Relationships

"hey you~"

"Dante!" Daniel exclaimed when the male suddenly picked him up from behind.  "Put me down!"

"But you look so cute when you're mad at me~" Dante teased but did put Daniel back down. He just wanted to startle his partner anyways.

"You're not mad at me are you?"

"No." Daniel huffed. He couldn't be mad at Dante.

"Can I have a kiss to prove it?"

"Hmm, no." Daniel smirked at Dante. "I have things to do today without you."

"What sorts of things?"

"Demon things. None of your business." Daniels tail swung side to side before whacking Dantes hand.

"You don't so demon stuff."

"I do whatever I want. With my rich boyfriends credit card." Daniel smirked at Dante over his shoulder and flashed the silver credit card he'd snatched from Dante.

"What?" Dante felt his pockets and noticed his wallet was missing. "Daniel!"

Daniel laughed and ran up the stairs towards his room to escape from Dante with the card in hand. "I'll buy myself a whole new wardrobe! And a fancy steak dinner!"

Daniel tried to shut the door but Dante got his foot in and pushed his way into the room. Dante tried to make an annoyed expression but seeing Daniel grinning and messing around made it hard to hide his own smile.

"Give it here, Batty. You're cornered now." Dante shut the door behind him and approached Daniel. For every step closer he got, Daniel backed another away towards the window.

"Am I?"

"Don't you dare-"

Daniel slipped out the window and jumped off the wall. He spread his wings so he was able to glide down to the ground safely. He looked up at Dante in the window with a defiant smirk. "Now what are you going to do!"

"Freeze the card."

"No way!"

"You better come up here and kiss me or I'll do it."

"I'm coming! But you owe me dinner after this."

"Wherever you want babe."

"Daniel! You're okay!" Furfur pulled her boyfriend up into a hug the moment his eyes opened.

"Mmm, what?" Daniel asked groggily, " m'course I'm okay."

"You scared me." Furfur pushed Daniel back to hold him at arms length. "Never do that again."

"What did I do?" Daniel asked. His memory was a little fuzzy. Why was he in her bed anyways? He'd spent the night with her but he was sure he'd woken up this morning.

"Clara found you unconscious in the yard." Furfur said.

"Oh. That." Now he remembered. "I waited too long to burst, I didn't control the flow well enough."

It wasn't uncommon for vespers to hurt themselves when bursting. Daniel was good at controlling the magic flow but he's waited too long. The moment he broke the dam it all flooded out.

"Why didnt you tell me you needed to release some magic?" Furfur asked.

"You were busy, I didn't want to bother you."  Daniel admitted. "Mm, I've got a head ache."

"You can always ask me. I wasn't too busy for you. I never am." Furfur promised Daniel.

"It's fine. I'll take better care of myself. You don't have to worry."
