"Yasmine? Yasmine it's okay. Breathe." Scilia wasn't quite sure why Yasmine was having a panic attack. She had just been going by the room when she heard her harsh breathing and the occasion whispered phrase that she hadn't been able to make out.

She'd come into the room and recognized it to be Yasmine in there. This must be the room she was assigned. She had thought Yasmine had a roommate or multiple but they weren't there at the moment.

She recognized the signs of a panic attack when she heard them. She worked in a castle where many servants were ex slaves. They would wake up from nightmares all the time or be startled by something which would cause minor anxiety or panic attacks. Usually she wasn't the one to help them calm down though.

She reached out and placed a gentle hand on Yasmines arm though Yasmine pulled away as if her touched burned. "I-im sorry!" She said quickly. Scilia was sure it was dark in the room though she wasn't sure why Yasmine was apologizing. Was she seeing things? Some severe panic attacks could cause hallucinations.

She didn't know Yasmine very well. She had helped her out after Aqua tried something with her in the kitchen then again when Yasmine brought snacks to thank her but they hadn't seen each other in the few days since.

Scilia reached out and grabbed both of Yasmines wrists in a firm but not painful hold. She then pulled Yasmine to her chest and wrapped her tail around her to hold her still. She didn't want Yasmine to run away or possibly hurt herself.

"It's just me. Scilia. There's nothing to be sorry about." She murmured to Yasmine. The was Yasmine was being held her forehead was against Scilia's shoulder. It blocked her vision of the room and hopefully would help her focus on Scilia's voice.  Yasmine tried to pull herself out of Scilia's grip but soon realized it wasn't going to work.

"You're in your room at the palace. No one is going to hurt you. Just take a deep breath. In... And out..." Scilia instructed. She released Yasmines wrists. One arm wrapped around her back and the other gently stroked her hair in a soothing gesture.  Scilia could feel the cold tears slip from Yasmines eyes but she was more focused on her heartbeat and breathing. Both began to slow as Yasmine calmed down.

Even once she was calm the two sat in silence for a short while before Yasmine spoke. "Miss Scilia? Why are you here?"

"It's just Scilia. I was passing by is all. I work night shift." Scilia replied calmly. She didn't ask Yasmine any questions. She moved her hand off Yasmines head when she tried to raise it though.

"I'm sorry about-"

"Don't be." Scilia stopped her. "Do you want me to stay here until you fall asleep?"

"I don't want to be a bother." Yasmine shook her head.

"It's fine. I don't really want to work anyways." Scilia said. She laid down on Yasmines bed, guiding her down as well. Her coils around Yasmine loosened and part of her tail wrapped around the end of the bed and under it so her roommate didn't trip on her whenever they came back.

Yasmine was slightly hesitant before she rested her head back down on Scilia's shoulder. "thank you."

"If you really want to thank me, you can make me some more tarts." Scilia said in a light, joking tone. Her hand on Yasmines back gently rubbed it in a soothing manner.
Yasmine gave a deep sigh as she relaxed, one arm slung over Scilia's stomach while the other was by her own side. She shut her eyes and too soon returned to sleep.
