Yasmine stopped at one of the servants doors and knocked on it. It was Daniel to answer the door. He'd been awake just hadn't yet left his room.

"Oh hey. Yas... Yasmir?" Daniel asked. He wasn't certain what her name was, he'd never really spent time with her.

"Yasmine." She corrected him. "is scilia here?" She'd been told this was Scilia's room though she didn't think any of the servants shared a room with the opposite gender.

"Yeah she's by the fire pit." Daniel said, opening the door and stepping aside so she could come in. However once Yasmine entered he left to give them some space.

There was the soft crackling of a fire from the small fireplace in their shared room. A mass of scales was curled around it. Scilia was able to fully coil herself around the fire about 3 times before resting her torso down on her own scales. She was very large however most didn't realize just how large since she would hold herself at about eye height when she wasn't laying down.

"Yasmine?" Scilia asked, her tongue flicking out of her mouth as she tasted the air. "Something you need?"

"No. I wanted to thank you... For earlier." Yasmine said, moving over towards scilia and taking a seat beside her human torso. She reached out and lightly touched Scilia's hand incase the blind lamia didn't know where she was. "I brought you something in thanks. I heard that you really liked blue berry tarts so I made you one."

Scilia turned her hand over and gently held yasmines soft  hand between her cool ones. She then slid her hand up yasmines arm, getting a feel of her without being as forceful as she was with most people. "your hands are too soft yo have been in a kitchen for long." She said before reaching out and setting a hand on Yasmines cheek. "Let me see you."

That was all the explanation she gave before carefully tracing over yasmines features. Yasmine felt a bit awkward but she also tried to understand why scilia was going this. She had heard what scilia did to Kassim and Sadiq, she was glad she didn't have to go through the same thing.

"You're very young. Very pretty I'm sure. Another mercenary friend of Faris' but a past before that no easier than the life you had before arriving in Delyra..." Scilia wasn't a seer because she could see. However she still had the same sense her mother did.

Yasmine wasn't sure how to answer that but luckily Scilia then changed the topic. Her coils loosed as she made more room between herself and the fire. "If you really want to thank me, lend me your body heat. Winters can be a pain for me."

"Alright." Yasmine set the plate down before stepping over Scilia and sitting between her and the fire in one area. She'd been surprised by how cold nights got here in the north but was kept warm by fire hearths and magic enchantments on the castle. Scilia was cold blooded and needed more help.

Once she was settled in, Scilia grabbed the plate and took a bite of the tart. "This is good. Have a bite." Scilia offered it to her so Yasmine leaned forward and bit the opposite end.  They didn't speak many words as the two relaxed there for the next few minutes, sharing the tart until it was gone.

Scilia was the first to break the silence. "I'm glad you came to spend time with me. Not many do. Thank you, Yasmine." Yasmine had said those words to scilia many times today but it was the other way this time.  "Will you spend more time with me in the future?"

Yasmine nodded before realizing Scilia wouldn't see that. "Yes, of course." She felt she owed scilia for stepping in earlier.

Scilia smiled and wrapped her arms around Yasmine, holding her close and enjoying her heat. "Thank you." She repeated. Yasmine yawned as she'd had to stay up quite late to meet scilia on her own time.

"I should go to bed.." she said, not wanting to force Scilia off.

"Just a few more minutes here?' scilia asked. "Just ten more?"

"Alright." Yasmine agreed. By the time ten minutes had gone by though, she'd fallen asleep. Scilia shifted slightly to better support yasmine so she wouldn't ache when she woke then continued to rest there so Yasmine could sleep as much as she needed. Scilia was in no rush for her to leave.
