Penthu, one of her youngest children. A snow leopard hybrid. As one of the youngest children there isn't a whole lot for him to do in the fields so he often finds himself watching other realms in boredom. Acts like hot shit at first but if you call him on his bluff he will self destruct. Not exactly tsun as much as very shy and doesn't know what to do with himself if he's not hiding behind his confident persona.
Penthu's heart raced as he tried his best to not listen to the screams of his village. Humans had come to take over the land under the command of their god. The warriors had already begun to dwindle in number. Aliqu had fallen. The outcome of this battle was all too quickly becoming clear.
The village had not been prepared for war. Today was the day of the winter festival. This was supposed to be a celebration, not a massacre.
The nine year old panther grabbed his younger sister by the hand and guided her through the village, avoiding humans and hybrids alike. The forest, they'd be safer in the trees.
"Penthu, slow down!" Cliena was struggling to keep up with her brother.
Penthu shifted into his hybrid form and pulled her by the shirt onto his back. She gripped onto his fur as he bolted through the streets and finally into the trees where he believed he would be safe. He didn't know there was a second army of humans waiting to catch the fleeing hybrids.
Penthu hardly even felt the pain of the arrow in his haunch over the adrenaline pumping in his veins but he stumbled all the same. He got up to his feet and crouched over his fallen sister, giving his most menacing growl at the human that approached him.
A twenty pound not even half grown leopard kit wasn't very frightening and he knew it. His eyes darted from one human to the next. There were only three. Maybe he could fight them. Maybe they could get out of here.
Maybe he didn't see the fourth standing behind them until the arrow struck.

Penthu cowered down under the roots of a tree as the other children of Aliqu gathered. Dozens of hybrids donning the mark on various parts of their body panicked at the sudden rush of souls and the loss of their magic.
He looked through the crowd of souls for his sister but he didn't find her. Too many feet were rushing past him for him to possibly find her. None of the children of Aliqu noticed him hiding either until hours later when the sudden influx of souls was handled.
"Penthu?"
The young leopard looked up at the woman standing outside his hiding spot. "You can come out now, you're safe."
Penthu slowly crawled out of his hiding spot and returned to his human form, looking up at the woman. "I wasn't scared." He was supposed to grow to be the chief of his village, he wasn't scared by crowds. That's what he was supposed to be anyways.
