"there must be someone we can speak to about returning to our home." Oriel said. She was relaxing on the bed, trying to formulate a plan.

"We don't even know where we are." Cisco said. "There's no such country as Delyra. There's no country with this much diversity either. I'd have heard about it."

"You are high ranking in the military aren't you?" Ryuin asked.

"Relatively. Depending on what you want me to do." Cisco was never sure what to expect with Ryuin.

"If we are close enough to meet palace servants there must be high ranking military in the area."

"That's not a half bad idea, actually." Oriel agreed. "I will come with you."

"I want to come too!" Anatol said.

"I think you should stay here with me." Lulu said.

"No he's right. He's royalty. Him coming with may be useful. Ryuin will stay with you, I'll go with Cisco and Anatol." Oriel said.

"Wait, what am I even supposed to say?" Cisco asked.

"I don't know exactly but we should be able to get some clear answers. Perhaps even find a way home." Oriel admitted. "anything is better than standing around, isn't it? The longer we are here the more trouble you may get into. You vanished without a trace or explanation."

"I guess you're right." Cisco agreed.

Oriel nodded before she got up to lead the way, Anatol following her at Cisco's side. He had legs for now since Ryuin used his magic to give them to Anatol.

Once the three left their room Oriel approached the female that they had spoken to about the room. The female was a middle aged human and had shown herself to be quite a helpful woman.

"Excuse me ma'am?" Oriel asked to get her attention.

"Cisco." Anatol said, distracting Cisco from the conversation that was taking place between Oriel and the woman.

"Yeah?" Cisco asked.

"Do you think we'll be able to get back home if we don't even know where we are?" Anatol asked.

Cisco nodded. "yeah, we'll get home." He said. "Don't worry."

He could see how worried Anatol was. Unlike the rest of them, Anatol had a family waiting for him. He had spoken a lot about his sisters and his father. He was close with his family in a way that the others didn't get have.

Anatol nodded, accepting Cisco's word as truth the same as he always would. He took a step closer before hugging Cisco.

Cisco patted Anatol on the back. "As much as I enjoy your hugs, let's wait until we're alone."

"Boys." Oriel returned to them. "it's advised we go to the royal palace and speak to the head guard Maelle. Apparently she is high ranking in the military as well." Oriel didn't get a specific title but she was left to trust what little information she could gather.

"You think we'll be able to just go and speak to her?" Cisco asked.

Oriel shrugged. "If nothing else we can schedule a meeting I would expect."

"It's worth a try." Anatol agreed.

Cisco sighed and shook his head. Neither of those two understood human governments very well. He didn't see a point in arguing, though.   "Do you know where she works?"

"She is the head guard of the palace. She can be found there." Oriel answered. "It's not very far from here. I got directions." She said. "Follow me."
