I should be writing our book.
Or doing my homework.
Maybe watching another movie with the fam.

But nah. I want Tsun Daniel.

"you're terrible." Daniel turned his head to glare at Furfur. His hands were lightly clutching onto the sheets of her bed. He could feel the soft fabric brush against his bare chest with each deep inhale as he tried to catch his breath.

Furfur only grinned. He looked so angry and yet so vulnerable. She knew he got defensive when he was flustered, the darkening grey of his cheeks only further proved her right. "I'm not. This is fair. You lost our bet. This is my prize."

"You said you wanted to see what was special about vespers! This is way more invasive." Daniels grip on the sheets tightened then relaxed again when Furfur lightly traced her finger from the center of his back to between his wings. He returned his head to how it had been before, staring at the headboard with his chin on the pillow. It wasn't the most comfortable but it wasn't terrible and he couldn't move much.  Furfur had straddled over his back to make sure he couldn't get up and take away her fairly earned prize.

"I'm just touching, I haven't hurt you." Furfur disagreed, brushing her hand softly over the back of Daniels wings. She'd asked him about those before and he'd been very reluctant to let her see them he always had them tucked away under his hoodie. She couldn't imagine that was very comfortable, even if his wings were oddly small.

For a moment she had wondered why they were so small but she didn't ask it. If Daniel was already reluctant to show her, she had a feeling he'd snap if she pressed him too far. This was a light hearted play time and she was enjoying making Daniel uncomfortable.

"Alright you let me touch your ears. You showed me your wings. What else is special about vespers?" Furfur asked, continuing their game. Well, her prize from winning the game.

"Grey skin." Daniel said.

"I know that, dummy." Furfur said. She slid both her hands up his back before gently holding onto his shoulders and leaning down as if to whisper in his ear. However, she just blew lightly on the tip of his ear instead of saying anything. She giggled, watching his ear flick from the disturbance and Daniels indignant "hey!"

"Dantalion told me that vespers have tails, is that true?" Furfur asked though she wouldn't doubt her brother when it came to facts about biology... Or any science for that matter.

"We have a sensitive spot on the back of our necks. A nerve cluster or something. Kind of like a pressure point I think." Daniel changed the topic to something else, telling Furfur a different trait and avoiding the question about his tail.

Furfur grinned and used two fingers to draw from the base of his skull down his neck until she found that spot that drew a quiet squeak, almost a chirp, from him. She noticed how his wings involuntarily extended when she pressed on that spot and he fidgeted despite being trapped on the bed.

Furfur had heard him make a similar sound a few times before. He was showing her that he could use echolocation in a quiet enough area but it was a pretty useless skill since he could also just create a flame in his hand to see. It was an odd quirk of his overly sensitive ears. Around a similar time he admitted that he used magic to dull his hearing most days since the palace could get too loud while he was trying to sleep.

"What else, Daniel?" She asked.

"Nothing. That's all." Daniel said. "Let me up now."

Before, even when insulting Furfur, there was a semi-lightheartedness to his words. Now they were serious but Furfur wanted her questioned answered.
