Okay so I was bored and attempted to integrate Delyra into your map. With some adjustments (and pasta) we got this
So as you can see I moved around countries a little but I think I managed to keep all your countries that border one another still doing so.
Idk why the image is uploading sideways.Delyra is split into 7 main Regions. These regions have varying culture mostly due to the split of the land when it was still all colonies. The names of the region tends to make it clear who had once owner the land and what sort of people had gathered there.
Chousoix
Watenna
Fenre
Keld
Yira
Shurpath
Maeux(These are all sound alikes to cities I have been to in my life btw. Before you say they're weird names. Example Watenna is Owatanna without the O)
The general layout of the country is as follows
My knowledge of geography is limited to my 10th grade class three years ago. But you see the major mountain ranges and rivers as well as the largest lake in Delyra, an important landmark to them.
Darker green is the forested areas while Lighter green is the grassy plains / hills.
Yellow is areas either along the coast with sandy/loose soil or dryer climates.
Grey squiggles are the especially hilly areas which do take up a lot of Delyra.
It's only flat along the west coast and northeastern border, really.
Speaking of flat we will start with
Watenna (North Eastern Pick + Corner)
Watenna is where most of the food in Delyra is produced. The flatter lands allow fields to be plowed and planted easily while the Watenna River provides water and nutrients to the soil.
There are a few larger trading cities near the border but Delyra has no official relations with Io or Belphamine (so far).
Veljko and Jennel's farm is in WatennaMove straight west for
Chousoix
Actually home to the capital city Alma.
Chousoix is mostly know for it's mining and lumber trade. The Alma river allows for easy transportation of goods down south. The river also leads out to sea making exports easier.
This is a thickly forested region with rare small towns. The majority of residents of Chousoix live in Alma.Going south brings you to
Maeux
Maeux is commonly mistaken as hosting the capital as it has multiple large cities. The Alma river brings goods down to Maeux where manufacturing is starting to take hold.
Maeux produces many of the goods that are traded within Delyra made from metals.
This is a bustling area full of business and skilled workers.Theos Family theatre is likely in Maeux.
West of Maeux is
Shurpath
Shurpath has some argiculture though the hilly terrain can make that a challenge as flash flooding is more common in that area.
Shurpath is mostly known for the fishing communities along the shore.
It is also home to Delyras largest port.South of Shurpath is
Yira
This is a very small area generally too dry to grow more than the most stubborn vegetation.
There is some mining here from the cross mountains but exports are lower than the the northern mountains.
The reason towns here exist is the life giving river Delina. This allows for some food to be grown in the area and the transportation of materials out to sea.West of Yira is
Kuld
Kuld is a somewhat flat area. Most of Delyras livestock is found here. Cattle and sheep claim much of the fields in the area.
Kuld is also home for some "wild" werewolf and hybrid clans. Finally is the center of Delyra
Fenre
Fenre is the thickly forested terrain of Delyra that makes trade to Belphamine tricky.
Fenre is home to Zul Lake, named in honor of the man who made this great country.
Most of Delyras "wild" hybrids and wolves roam this area. (There is politics behind them that I'm not going to get into).
The land is close enough to the border and Maeux that there are some good sized cities but it is mostly untamed land.
