Random fucking headcanons that have been compiling in my notes for about 8 months that I never bothered to write and only today remember existed.

Plus I was on a plane so I wrote cause I was bored.

With a heavy focus on Daniel because his headcanon needs backstory so you get cute tsun.

Mavati is too tall for a woman

Mavati may be one of the last dragon shifters alive but she was by no means the last dragon shifter. There were a few dozen of them and numbers were actually begining to rise. They'd almost made up for the massacre of her home island.

Occasionally the dragon shifters held a meeting. It was mostly for the same of feeling like a community or possibly finding a partner for the dragons coming of age. It was informal and often included other species as many shifters married outside their race.

That's where Sadiq was at the moment. Maelle and Sadiq had accompanied Mavati to this meeting on her request. She'd flown the two of them there so it wasn't a bad trip.

Mavati had gotten pulled away by someone she knew and Maelle went out for some fresh air. Sadiq was fine alone just waiting and watching. Hed done more talking today than he usually did anyways.

"Hey." Another male approached him. He had pale blue scales on his wrist and four horns. He was almost as tall as sadiq bit not built quite as much. "Get left by the wife too?"

"Mhm." Sadiq nodded, not seeing a reason to correct that to girlfriend. Mavati was quite serious in the relationship and they spent many nights together. He figured they would move in together any day now and had considered proposal but decided it was still a bit too soon.

"That usually happens here. Especially when there's hatchlings." The man leaned against the wall behind him, gazing at the other dragons rather than at Sadiq. "Which one is your wife?"

"Mavati." Sadiq pointed her out in the crowd on the other side of the room.

"Mavati? Really? Doesn't that, you know, make you uncomfortable?" He asked.

"She doesn't use her magic on me." Sadiq answered, assuming he meant it was because of Mavati's spirit magic powers.

"Not that. She's huge! Doesn't it make you uncomfortable that she's bigger than you? Females are supposed to be the small ones." The male said.

Sadie just shrugged. Of course a dragon was bigger than him, he wasn't a shifter. "It doesn't matter to me." He didn't want to pick a fight either.

"Please excuse me." Sadiq added when Mavati waved him over.

Later than night when they were settled in a temporary camp to sleep sadiq mentioned his discussion with the other dragon. "Are you really that large for a dragon?" He asked.

Mavati laughed. "well if dragons were humans, assume the average male dragon is around 6 feet tall just like a normal human. I'd be about your height if my dragon form matched my human one."

Sadiq knew she was huge but was slightly shocked. Was she really that big?

"It made the dating game pretty hard when I was ready to get back into it. But I'm glad I struggled because I got to meet you." Mavati said, taking Sadiqs hands and leaning out to place a chaste kiss on his lips.

"I'm glad I met you too."
