I can't believe I have to specify which Harem it is. Why are we like this MissAvarice

For the record I had originally intended a half a paragraph fully thing. Then I wrote this.

"That's not fair, Maelle. You spend far more time alone with him than I get to. Let me take him for dinner alone tonight."

"Working doesn't count. We are both guards. I only happens we have overlapping duties."

Sadiq heard the voices of his two girlfriends as he passed by Maelles room. It was not on the servants floor but it wasn't in the royals wing either. She was closest to the guest rooms which were empty at the moment. Sadiq had been in her room before. It was large and quite nice though lacked any sort of personal touch.

"Besides, are you jealous of me or something? You know he doesn't have a preference." Maelle continued.

Sadiq leaned against the wall outside the door. The door had not been fully sealed so he was able to see the two. Neither had noticed him. He was curious how they acted when he was not around and decided not to interrupt. After all, if they didn't get along there would have to be an unpleasant conversation.

"I'm jealous of both of you." Mavati stated, running a hand through her hair.

"What?" Maelle gave the slightest tilt of her head when she had no clue what she was hearing or seeing.

"I'm jealous of how much time you spend along with Sadiq. I am jealous of your time with him. And I am jealous of his time with you."

Maelle did not have a chance to ask another question. Mavati stepped closer, set a hand on her cheek, and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. It was something Sadiq was familiar with.

Mavati's embraces were always warm yet tender. The passion was clear with only the lightest of touches. It was a certain wisdom and grace that very few were able to obtain.

Maelles eyes grew wide and she took a step back, pushing Mavati's shoulders to move her away. She opened her mouth to speak but then closed it again as she couldn't think of anything to say.

She sharply inhaled to try to come to her senses. Unfortunately for Sadiq, it was then that she noticed his scent nearby. She looked to the doorway and met eyes with him.

Mavati turned to see what Maelle was looking at and noticed Sadiq as well. A light pink dusted her cheeks as she realized they were being watched.

"Well..." Mavati clapped her hands together, breaking the silence. A polite and ever pleasant smile broke over her face. "Why don't we all get dinner together?"
