Halloween!

Yeah it's late. I forgot I started this until I found it again so you get it now.

"You're going to go to the halloween party, aren't you?" Scilia asked. "Elyse and Rin have been planning it for a month."

"Yeah, I'm going." Daniel said.

"But you're supposed to wear a costume." Scilia said. "I haven't heard you doing anything to prepare."

"I'm going as a bat. My wings are free." Daniel said.

Scilia sighed. "you're an idiot."

"Oh yeah? And what are you?" Daniel retorted.

"I'm a rainbow. Obviously." Scilia gestured to her clothing. As usual it was thin strange of fabric around her chest and waist however they were no longer white and instead an array of colors.

"You can't even see. How would you know you're a rainbow."

"That's the joke." Scilia pointed out. "Now if you excuse me, I'm going to help my girlfriend get ready. I suggest you get a better costume."

"Come on Fran, you promised~" Elyse begged, pulling his covers off him once more only for Francis to hide his head under a pillow again.

"I didn't." He said. "Go away."

"Yes you did. You promised you'd come to the party but you said you wouldn't dress up. But I offered to pick out a costume for you. You said as long as it covered a comfortable amount of skin you would wear it. I know you remember!"

Elyse grabbed his leg to try to pull him off the top bunk. Francis grabbed onto the side rail to stop her. "Elyse!"

"Get upppp!" Elyse whined. "You haven't even looked at the costume!"

"Fine!" Francis huffed and moved the pillow off his head before sitting up.

Elyse gave a triumphant grin before unfolding the clothes she had brought in for him.  "See?"

"There's no way in hell I'm wearing that." Francis deadpanned.

"Why not?" Elyse frowned. "it fits all your requirements."

"I'm not dressing up as an incubus!"

"Wait I thought we were dressing up as Iron chefs. You said they're the best chefs." Theo asked as he noticed the difference in their costumes.

He's even gone as far as to ask Elyse to help him with his costume since he wasn't certain exactly how a top chef would dress.

"Yeah, we are." Rin said as she ran a brush through her hair, glancing at herself in the mirror.

"Then why are you only wearing an apron that says FE?"

"Because I'm an Iron Chef." Rin said with a grin.

The party ended up being more fun than most of the servants thought it would be. Elyse and Yasmine had made some wonderful snacks for everyone. Kassim, Rin, and Theo had done the decorations. (And Kassim loved Rins costume). 

Elyse was dressed like an angel and had helped Yasmine make a kitty costume, after assuring her that it would not be seen as offensive of course.

"Hey kitty cat." Scilia wrapped her arms around Yasmines waist and pulled her into a gentle hug. "I bet you look adorable right now."

Yasmine looked up at Scilia before she placed a soft kiss on her cheek. "Thank you. You look beautiful tonight as well. You're a- what are you?"

"I'm a Rainbow of course." Scilia said drawing a laugh from Yasmine.  "Yes, you are. I see that now."

Daniel shook his head as he watched the two interact. "She can't even see the colors herself."

"At least she's wearing a costume." Furfur said.

"I'm a bat." Daniel replied with a huff, crossing his arms. "you're not wearing one either, Furfur."

"Of course I am." Furfur insisted. She was wearing a hoodie and dark colored jeans. Her hair was brushed slightly in front of her eyes. She shoved her hands into her pockets and blew her hair out of her eyes.

"No. You're not." Daniel said.

"I'm you!" Furfur laughed. "Female you that is."

"I hate you..." He sighed.

"What exactly are you wearing?" Dantalion asked as he drifted towards Francis, the only other person in the room that was standing alone.

"It was Elyse's idea." Francis muttered. He was wearing all black. The pants were form fitting but the coat was moderatly loose. Demons wings were in his back, held on by red straps that crossed over his chest.  A spade tipped tail was attached to his pants and curled near the small of his back.  He also had small horns on his head from a headband somewhat hidden under his hair.

"Are you supposed to be a demon?"

"An incubus." Francis said, ignoring the slightly amused shine in Dantalions eyes.

"You are a good friend to wear that for her." Dantalion commented. "it doesn't look bad."

"Just wait. Elyse will find a way to end the night with us locked in the closet. I'm convinced this whole party is a plan to get us together. Maybe your sister and Daniel too."

"You'll just have to wait and find out, lovebirds!" The eavesdropping angel laughed.
