"hey Daniel do you mind going somewhere else tonight?" Scilia asked.

"Why?" Daniel huffed, rolling onto his side. It was too early for him to have to get out of bed. He had no idea why scilia had been up for so long but he'd slept through most of whatever she was doing.

"Because Yasmine rooms with Zafir and I know he won't just roll over and let us do what we want. Do you really want to be in here while Yasmine and I-"

"Stop!" Daniel did not want to hear the details that he was sure Scilia would go into just to get him out of the room. "Fine I'll go somewhere else."

It took another bit of effort to get out of bed and get dressed. He figured he could just go to Furfur. He'd deal with his chores later.

Besides they hadn't seen each other in a few days and he wanted to visit. She had said she was welcome any time.

He stopped by the kitchen first to see if anything was left from dinner prepared for the servants. There wasnt. Today was just turning out wonderfully.

He found an apple and took a bite of it. At least he wouldn't go hungry. He walked the quieting halls while he ate his apple. He didn't bump into anyone though he was pretty sure Francis was staying at the palace tonight. He was probably still asleep.

Daniel decided he had waited long enough and he'd open a portal to go straight to Furfurs room. She had appeared in his room before so it couldn't be that weird.

It was that weird.

Daniel appeared in her room to find Furfur in the middle of a session with a servant that Daniel was pretty sure was named Valentine. Not just starting but deep into it.

"L-lady Furfur!" Valentine was the first to notice Daniel, interrupting their session to being notice to Furfur.

"Daniel?" Furfur had obviously not been expecting him. Valentine grabbed the sheets and pulled then up to her chest in a futile attempt to hide as if they had not been caught in the middle of it.

"Yeah... I'll come back later." He said.

Furfur smiled at him. It was rare for Daniel to initiate the visits. "It's fine. You can stay and watch." Furfur looked down at Valentine and gently guided her to look up with a finger under her chin. Valentine had always been one of her favorites. Maybe because she was her first or maybe it was just because she was the most fun.

"Val might even let you join~"

Sitri looked up when Elyse entered the room he'd been reading in. Elyse quickly shut the doors and darted over to Sitri. "Baby I love you. You're a big strong man, you'll protect me?" Elyse had taken a position behind his chair and pressed a few kisses to his cheek, almost as a bribe.

"What did you do kitten?" Sitri asked. "If it's about your game with Asme he won't kill you."

Sitri doubted he would, at least. There wasn't much Elyse could do to actually make Asme mad.

"No I switched targets today. I decided to prank Francis for old times sake and I caught Dantalion in a crossfire and now I think he's going to kill me."

"I don't think he will." Sitri began with a smirk. Sometimes he couldn't help messing with Elyse too.

"You don't?" She asked.

"I know he will." As if on cue the door slammed open. Elyse shrieked and her hands vanished from around him.

There was no one standing there, it was simply that magic was a wonderful thing when someone thought they were being hunted. Sitri glanced over his shoulder to see elyse was gone. He wasn't left to question her for long when he felt something brush against his leg.
