Daniel, ever the lazy man, had slept in late the next morning. He would use excuses such as needing to rest after feeding Furfur but everyone knew the little percentage of his magic she took in their night time joys was slim and shouldn't effect his overall energy levels too much.

He likely would have slept later than the time that he woke, which he would estimate to be around 9 in the morning, but he was brought out of his rest by feeling very cold.

He noticed immediately that Furfur wasn't still in bed with him.  That was odd, usually he was woken when she got up. He swung his feet out of bed and got up, grabbing the still folded clothes resting on her dresser. He'd known he was staying the night and was intelligent enough to being clean clothes for the next day. Rin always complained if he put on the same clothes again. Something about lingering scents on laundry day.

He ran a hand through his messier than usual hair and yawned. His back was a bit sore after last night. Furfur at least owed him breakfast in bed. It would be even better if Elyse had spent the night with Sitri and made something for him. No offense to Furfur but no one could best Elyse's cooking.

He made his way to the kitchen but found it and the attached dining room empty. Not the staff eating nor any of the Goetias. That was annoying. He turned to just wander until he could find Furfur but noticed Zepar on his way down the hall.

"Hey." Daniel said to catch his attention. He was pretty sure Zepar didn't particularly like him but he didn't remember what he did to piss him off. He didn't spend much time with Zepar considering he and Furfur didn't get along all that well. Just barely enough to hear Elyse calling him a very affectionate 'zeppy' once or twice before.
"Do you know where Furfur went?"

"No. It is nearly impossible to keep track of my sister and her voracious whims. I would suggest asking the staff if she was not in her room." Zepar had stopped to face Daniel and spoke in a very proper fashion. Daniel huffed and blew his bangs out of his eyes.

"Alright, thanks." He muttered as he brushed by Zepar to continue his search. He checked a few other places she frequented but didn't see her anywhere.

"Sitri." Daniel now was actively seeking out other people to ask for Furfurs whereabouts. He wouldn't say he was worried about her. He just wanted to know. "Have you seen Furfur today?"

"No. I figured she was still in bed with you. I haven't seen Dantalion either." He noted. His eldest brother was supposed to be back from his duties for some time. "maybe urgent business called them back to Delyra."

Despite being clearly forgiven by the certain maid he had given a heart attack to, he still wasn't trusted to continue diplomatic relations between Rouxe and Delyra. For whatever reason Lilith had sent Furfur along with Dantalion on the last visit instead.

"I'm going to check there." Daniel decided. It wasn't all that hard for him to get back to the palace. Portal magic wasn't the easiest but he knew these two locations very well which made it a lot easier. It would have been a pain if he had to fly or walk the journey every visit.

Sitri nodded and turned back to whatever he had been doing, Daniel didn't bother to pay any mind to his activities. "I may see you there later." He said in farewell. He had another date with Elyse that night. She was planning it this time.

"I'm not playing games with you Aqua, where did you take him this time!" Lilith demanded. Aqua hadn't been hiding her presence as much recently. She had returned to her house in Belphamine. Much like her other ones it was well hidden, it just happened that Lilith knew the location of this one. She had gone after Aqua the moment she lost her mana connection with Dantalion.
