Idk enough about Samael to write much but this is how I imagine it happened

"can't you behave for just one day?" Amidas huffed, dragging Kit along with him to a specific point in heaven.

"I am behaving!"

"Hardly. You were practically picking fights." Amidas released Kit when they reached their destination. "So you're going in a time out."

"Like hell I am." Kit turned to leave but Amidas raised his hand and created an invisible binding spell. Chaining him to the same location as another with the same fate.

"Kit this is Samael, Samael Kit. Now you both have company. I'll be back for him later."

"Wait -" Samael didn't get a moment to protest before Amidas returned to the fields to continue his work.

He turned his gaze to the pouting fox who knew struggling against the spell was futile. What was he supposed to do now?

Kit felt his eyes and turned to look at him as well. "What?"

"Nothing, merely observing." Samael closed his eyes with every intent to return to his meditative state. Kit didn't seem to be in the mood to talk.

"Angels are so weird." Kit muttered but took that as a sign Samael wasn't going to entertain him. He decided he'd try to free himself from the spell until he got too bored or managed to free himself.

"Hey, Angel... Guy?" Samael was brought out of his trance by a poke to the cheek. He hadn't even heard Kit approaching him.

"Samael."

"Right that's what I said." Kit withdrew his hand. "Do you know how to set me free?"

"No, I don't know what spell Amidas used. Nor would I break it if I could." Samael shook his head.

"What? Why not?" Kit whined. "I could try to break yours too."

"No thank you."

"That's so boring." Kit groaned. "I don't even know when he's going to come back! You could get freedom before I do."

"I would doubt that." Still the amount of drama kit was displaying brought a faint smile to his lips. It was nice to talk to someone for a change.

"Why? How long are you stuck here?" Kit asked.

"Eternity." Samael answered.

"... We should run away together. Start our own afterlife. The 'Chain Free Duo.' but you have to break my bind first."

"Samael?"

Samael hadn't expected another visitor so soon. Amidas had come back for kit before too long had passed. That was the last company he'd had and it was nearly a week ago. He didn't expect Kit to return so soon.

"Yes?"

"Can I stay here with you for a little while?" Kit asked, walking over near him and settling down.

"You may but can I ask why?" Was he hiding from a sibling? Samael didn't really want to get caught in the middle of any drama.

"I don't know. I kept thinking about you out here. And I got bored in the fields." Kit shrugged. "Don't you get bored too?"

"You get used to it after a while." Samael admitted. "Though I appreciate your company."

"Well good. I brought a snack too. My apple tree is in bloom. Here." Kit tool two apples out of his bag and offered one to Samael. "And in return... Maybe you can talk to me for a little while?"
