Danny: WHAT THE FUCK?! GLENS RIGHT- NOT A CHANCE!
Hannah comes out.
Hannah: whats going on?
Danny: they want me to go to South Africa for some shows!
I say my voice just below shouting.
Hannah: what?! You- you- jess- Ur
Danny: I know! Im not going!
Mark: Danny, we kind of don’t have a choice…
Danny: bullshit. Im not going. Im not leaving jess!
Glen: danny-
Danny: NO!
Hannah: when are you meant to go?
Danny: im not
Mark: tomorrow morning
Hannah: how long?
Glen: a week and a half
Hannah: oh
Danny: im. Not. Going.
Glen: dan we have no choice!
Danny: Im not leaving jess, understand?! I will give everything up before I leave her! Do you fucking understand me?!
Hannah: dan calm, it’s not their fault…
I grunt loudly and storm off. I stand against the wall and light a cigarette and call James.
*call*
James: James-
Danny: im not going
James: ah Danny
Danny: don’t ‘ah Danny’ me. Im not leaving my dying wife!
James: I understand this is going to be hard but Danny this is your career- you need to go.
Danny: no. I don’t think YOU understand. Im not leaving this hospital- let along London or the UK. Got me?
James: Danny it’s not up for discussion. You come or we drop you. Mark and glen will suffer too- you want that?
Danny: course I don’t fucking want that! I don’t want any of this!
James: look, Danny, I can’t do much about it… I can make you a deal though
Danny: I don’t want your fucking deals because im not going!
James: *sigh* if Jessie’s condition does not change within the next two days you have to come out, if it does change you can stay… that’s the best I can do…
I sigh
Danny: fine *snap*
*end call*
Ugh. I walk back in. it’s about half nine at night. Mandy, Andrea and Hannah say their goodbyes and say they will come up tomorrow.
Mark: so?
Danny: if jess’s condition doesn’t change in the next 2 days we have to go…
Glen: well that’s a bit better I guess…
Danny: not really… jess’s condition hasn’t changed in nearly 3 months…
They soon leave and I hold jess’s hand.
Danny: babe, it’s me, Danny… what should I do? I have to go to South Africa for a week and a bit I have no choice… I don’t want to go baby but they are going to make me… the only way I don’t go is if you get worse of get better…
