chapter 102 - first show tonight!

ive been in L.A. for about a month, we had a change of plan, i have been in the studio trying write first and then tonight i do my first live show, then a two month touring all over america. im knackered i havent stopped thinking about danny and orla. i have a strange feeling, i can't describe it- it it *sigh* i dont know, just feel strange. i have the day off today i just have to be at the arena at ten to seven. my phone buzzes- a text from danny.

from danny:

hey baby, hows america? wanna skype orla has just woken up? love you xxxxxxxxxx

i didnt answer i just opened my mac and opened skype. it rang for about 3 rings before he answered. 

danny: say hey mummy! hey beautiful!

jess: hey baby! hey hunny! 

danny: you ok? 

jess: yeah, you guys?

danny: yeah, were ok.

orla: daddy can i go play?

danny: sure baby.

danny: oh guess what arrived today?

jess: what?

danny: the wedding photos!!

jess: really?!

danny: yes! 

jess: finally, they have had them for months!!

danny: i know- but they are perfect! 

jess: show me show me show me!!

he held pictures of us at the ulter and family ones outside the church, along with the drunk funny ones of the reception. they were perfect, they were crisp and the colours were perfect. 

jess: they are lovely! 

danny: yeah! oh you know that wall in the music room that is bear and we dont know what to do with it?

jess; yeah? 

danny: well me and orla- well orla, have come up with something, so do you mind if we decorate it?

jess: sure, with what?

danny: you'll see

jess: has everything been ok with orla- just ive had this weird feeling in my stomach, i dont know...

dan: um yeah she has had a bit of a cold but apart from that fine...

jess: oh ok, i miss you!

danny: i miss you too... just two months now... um about 56 sleeps now...

jess: i loove you! i just want to cuddle with you and orla and watch princess films and be at home...

danny: i know i want that too, maybe not the princess films...

jess: you love them really

danny: shhhh!! anyways, goodluck on tonights show! 

jess: thanks!

danny: better get this munchkin some breakfast...

jess: yeah i better get some lunch

danny: i love you, talk to you tonight yeah?

jess: yeah, love you bye!

*end of call*

i closed my laptop. *sigh* i walk into my kitchen- penthouse, needed if you here for a month! i rumage through my fridge and cupboreds, i settle on fish-finger sandwich, with mayo and ketchup, with salad and  packet of salt and vineger crisp. i talk my food on to the balcony and eat. i need to decided what too wear tonight. i think ill wear my black flow dippy hem skirt and grey fitted top with cup sleeves- tucked uner. with black strap sandles.

once i was finished i washed my plate and hopped in the shower. i let the warm water hit me and relax my whole body. i washed myself and jumped out. i sat at the dressing table and i applied my light layer of make up before curling my hair and getting dressed. i put my denim  jack on to finish and grabbed my bag and phone and wandered out. i had about 2 hours to kill so i got in a cab and headed into town. best way to chilli before a show- shop! 

i found and nice little shop of funky gifts and wandered in. i found one of those teddys that is a pillow and a toy, i brought a ladybird one and walked about some more. i came to a nail salon- angel nails. i walked in and they sat me down. 

she added acrylic tips and gel over layers. i got up and chose mt colours. i decided on 5 summery pastle colours and she painted the tips in the colours. once she was done i took a picture- for instagram and paid her. it was time to go to the area so i got a cab and with in 10 minutes was there. i put the teddy in my dressing room along with my bag and ran to back stage. i was give my ear plug and miced up, the lights and count down started- my first show since orla- first show for 16 months ago-
