i wake up to the bed being cold. i roll over, its 3am. where the fuck is jess?! i got up and staggered down the stairs after checking orlas room and the bathroom. i see a light on in the kitchen. i push the door open and see jess typing away on her laptop a cup of coffee next to her.
danny: jess what in- what the hell are you doing?!
she jumped slightly
jess: finding a new record lable
danny: at 3 in the fucking morning!?
jess: i needed something to do
danny: oh i dont know, how about sleep?!
jess: i couldnt, its all these drugs they have fucked up my sleep pattern...
mm, i open my eyes wide in disbelief and put the kettle on and rest against the side yawning.
danny: so any luck?
jess: nah, loads of people want to sign me until they find out i have cancer then nope.
danny:*sigh* ill talk to james if you want?
jess: your manager james?
danny: no james and the giant peach, of course my manager
jess: fucking hell, someone hasnt had there beauty sleep...
danny: no cause my warm teddy bear went walking!
jess: well yes id like that, thanks...
danny: one condition, you come back to bed, now!
jess: *yawn* yeah... i guess...
she closed her laptop and we walk back upstairs. we cuddle under the covers to hide from the cold air.
jess: thank you
danny: mmm
jess: i dont know what id do with out you danny!
danny: i love you
jess: i love you too...
i soon fell back to sleep. god this women! i love her to bit but sometimes she drives me crazy!!

i wake up again to an empty bed. i check the time, 9am. i roll out of bed, orla was in her room playing with her dollies. i walk down stairs and find jess sitting on the sofa eating a piece of toast.
danny: wow, your eating breakfast?
jess: more lunch i have been up since 3 but yeah, kinda felt i should eat...
danny: no no its good! yeah!
jess: i made you a fry up its under the grill...
danny: wow well aint you just the Duracell bunny...
i smile and give her a kiss. i found my food and ate it. she seems to be happy today. them drugs they just pump into her, they make her moods change and some days she has a super energy boost somedays she is almost dead.
i dont understand.
