Jess sat up the corner just watching everyone.
Clair: im really glad you and jess came Danny…
Danny: yeah… we aren’t going to stay long…
She smiled and I hugged her.
Clair: she’s very lucky to have you… Dan I can’t think of anyone else better suited for my best friend…
Danny: thank you Clair…
Clair: how are you? With all this?
Danny: im putting on a front…

I gave her a reassuring smile and she gave me a sympathetic one. I took mine and jess’s drink over and sat next to her, the song changed and she sat up.
Jess: d-dance with me?
Danny: you feel up too that?
Jess: I wouldn’t have asked if not…
I nod and help her up. He arms hug and join behind my neck and her head rests on my chest. I put my hands on her hips and we move gently to the music, this song makes me think of her and all this. I try hard not to cry. I feel jess’s warm tears on my chest.

I couldn’t help but cry, I started the think about mine and Danny’s memories over the years.
I pull away from Danny and look into his eyes. His eyes we glossy and watering, my eyes were streaming. I lent up and pecked his lips; I looked into his eyes again
Jess: i-m sorry dann-y
My grip on him loosened and my legs gave way. I fell to the floor. He knelt next to me but I couldn’t make anything out, it was all muffled and I couldn’t really see anything as my vision kept loosing focus.
