chapter 84 - and you are?

im on the way to meet with clive. danny is in the studio so orla is coming with me. i still feel stupid about the other night everything i said i didnt mean. i dont know i just felt tired and stuff. eugh. i drive an hour to the studios. i get out and a load of paps are sitting outside, eugh just like the good old day! note the sarcasm. i get out and get the buggy out. i pick orla up and put her in it, i cover her up and grab my bag and paper work. i put them under the buggy and begin to walk in.

paps: oh look out baby janny alert!

jess: please just one day! can i just go in please?

paps: gives a look!

jess: no

paps: come on!

jess: um no!

they block the entrance, great. light bulb.

jessie: listen if you let me in ill post a picture of her tonight!?

paps: no you wont!

jess: yes i will! now move or i wont!

they soon move. ha as if they were so stupid, im not putting any photos out its not fair on her, not yet! i walk over to the lift. the building is quiet today only the sound of my jimmy choo heels clipping along. i finally make it to the 12th floor and to the meeting room. such fuss! i open the door and walk in, i see clive, james and some one else sitting round a table.

clive: here she is! number one pop star and crew!

jess: ha funny dont call my baby 'crew' again!

we both laugh at me trying to be serious and i take a seat at the posh table.

james: right so, the alive tour. you only did Manchester-

orla starts screaming his face didnt look happy. i took the blanket away and pulled her out and sat her on my knee. i found her, her cold chew toy for her gums and teething. i slowly and gently bounced her up and down and she settled.

jess: sorry go on.

james: you only did one major show from the alive tour, so they are priority then the few little ones left...

jess: ok.

man: yeah and we'll also need a copy of your agreement to join and leave the voice.

jess: sorry but who are you?

man: oh im Neil.

jess: right hi 'neil' and you do?

neil: im not really sure what you mean?

jess: well i wanna know what sorta people my daughters around, so what do you do?

neil: um ok, well im your new tour director...

jess: ok whatever! they're here...

i chucked them across and turned my attention to orla.

clive: we have been going over some dates, its the 22 of january, we need you to do a show everyother night starting 2nd of febuary till 16th of march?

jess: no

neil: no?!

jess: yes 'neil' no im not working valentines week sorry not happening! i need to be here for danny.

clive: ok so all that apart from valentines week. then working every week till and after that, monday to friday?

jess: no, i cant work that much, me and danny need to be in sink and my heart wont cope so no. ill do monday, wednesday and fridays.

neil: you should just be greatful we aint dropping you because you havent been here!

jess: excuse me! i should be greatful!?i havent been here because i had health problems, got kidnapped, raped and beaten along with giving birth to a human! plus you are making me come back to work 4 months early! so im sorry!

eugh. some people!

jess: clive ill call you.

i got up and put orla back in her buggy and walked out. i couldnt stay in there anylonger, some people just... EUGH!! the paps were luckily bussy over someone else i think it was katy perry, not sure though. i walked round the corner to a little coffee shop. i sat down and text holly.

text to holly:

hey babe! you ok? havent spoken to you in ages, eventhough your next door;) catch up? love ya xxxx

it didnt take long for a reply.

text from holly:

hey! we saw eachother the yesterday morning? aha yeah, normal coffee shop?:) im in town so ill be there in 10 love ya xxxx

i smiled and replied.

text to holly:

well you know, thats a long time ;) aha yeah normal place see ya soon xxxx

i sat and ordered two juices, a latte and a cappuccino for us lot, and soon enough the bright red head aka holly and buggy came throught the door.

holly: JESS!!

jess:HOLLY!!

we laugh and the drinks came over, timing hu? we turned the buggys towards the table so we could see them. we didnt want them to get paped or anything so we left them in there. they were happy chatting and dribbling away. we ordered some lunch and chatted.

holly: so how was the meeting?

jess: oh my god! dont go there! so bad some new tour manager-

holly: neil?

jess: how'd you know?

holly: he wanted me to get you some dancers in...

jess: but i dont want dancers!?

holly: thats what i said!!

jess: just yeah he was annoying and james eugh just nobody got time for them!

we laughed and ate.

holly: oh ive had a great idea for the wedding!!!

jess: oh dear... go on

holly: right, girls v boys, since both you and danny are singers you both perform?

jess: explain more...

holly: well you both do a set sorta thing and you can use both sides of the family, adults and kids and yeah just for a laugh?

jess: ill see what danny says aha!
