chapter 71 - But Your Brothers?!

*jessie*

*screaming* eurghhh. i roll out of bed. i walked, well stumbled in to orla's room. i picked her up and sat in the arm chair.

jess: shhh. shhh. 

i slowly rocked her back and forth, i glanced up at the clock, 8:30am. she woke up 6 times last  night, i think she sill. she has a temperature and wont settle. i found my breast pump and like sort calpol powder. i made a bottle up and mixed some calpol stuff in. i gave it to her and she went back to sleep. i walked down stairs and found her bouncer chair, i laid her in it and made some coffee. i sat on the sofa, i found my book. well its a baby book about development of your child. its interesting. but from what it says orla is developing quicker than she should. which i guess isn't such a bad thing, especially since we suffered from preeclamsia and she could have had difficulties. like for instance its the, urrr, umm 7th of august today. so that means shes about one month and a half. so she should be able to, 

- focus her eyes

- follow movement with her eyes

- spend most of the time sleeping

- eatting well

which she is but she is also,

- moving about e.g. lifting her legs and arms

- smiling

- laughing.

which is amazing! she's such a cleaver girl, shes my cleaver girl. i get up and decide to cook breakfast, i havent cooked in ages even though i Love cooking. 

i felt to arms wrap round me making me jump,

danny: something smells good gorgeous!

his voice still sends shivers down my spin, 

jess: here ya 

i handed him a plate and we sat down, i only had some toast, i still had baby fat to loose.

danny: so what needs sorting?

jess: well, we need to cheek the guest list, write invitations. oh and i thought we could go over and see your  ma and family?

danny: ok, sure. ill book tickets to see ma, tonight?

jess: yeah! right so i was thinking as guests,
