❝Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it. I'd like to be my old self again, but I'm still trying to find it.❞

"Okay, Mom, Dad, everyone's parent's left already," Cory whined, being the only student to still have his parents saying goodbye to him.

The senior class was finally having their make-up ski trip and everyone was excited. Everyone's parents had come to see off their children at the school before they left.

"Uh, whoa, whoa, whoa. You. Back up. We're okay with you going overnight with the school. We just want to make sure we're clear on the sleeping arrangements," Alan said sternly.

Cory smiled and giggled. "Ah, interesting. A little concern on the part of the parents. You're worried Cory may get a little freaky this weekend?" He smirked as he wiggled his brows.

Alan rolled his eyes. "Anything happens to Elena, I'll kill you."

Cory gasped, looking offended. "You like her better than me," He complained.

"Everyone likes me better than you," Elena sang with a smirk as she joined them after saying goodbye to Theo, Lydia, and Happy.

She hugged Alan and Amy warmly, Alan kissing the top of her head before they finally left.

"All right, everyone," Mr. Feeny called, "The bus will be here in a few minutes. Now, remember, even though this ski trip is about having fun, we live in a land of laws which must be obeyed if this society is to survive. In other words, I'll be watching you two," He glared at Shawn and Cory.

Elena walked away from Cory when Shawn stood by his other side. She joined JD by their lockers, his arm wrapping around her shoulder immediately as they waited to get on the bus. Once Mr. Feeny started ushering them outside, JD grabbed his and her bags in one hand and held her hand in his other as they made their way to the bus.

"You okay?" Cory asked Shawn when he noticed him watching Elena and JD with a frown.

"Yeah, sure," Shawn shrugged, "It's just an interesting feeling."

"What, to know it's over?" Cory said softly, not wanting to be too blunt.

"To be the only guy in the world who knows it's not," He corrected, his eyes trained on Elena.

Everyone on the bus groaned in disdain when Mr. Feeny decided to use the traffic jam they were stuck in as an impromptu English class. He continued off right where they left off last class since the bell rang before he could finish his discussion about Sense and Sensibility.
