"Say you could pick any superhero to be your dad. Who would you choose?"
"Batman, no question," Ellis answered immediately, "Live in a cool cave, borrow the Batmobile."
Shawn nodded his head smiling, "He lets Robin hang out with him and play with all his stuff and Robin's not even his real kids, he's his ward."
"How do you get to be a ward?" Ellis wondered.
Cory shook his head, "Batman? Is he faster than a speeding bullet? I don't think so. Is he more powerful than a locomotive? Uh-uh. I want Superman."
"Sees through walls," Elena interjected, "You'd never get away with anything, you don't as it is."
Shawn smiled at her dreamily "I love when you talk geek."
"Because I'd make a very cool ward," Ellis concluded.
Elena gave him a weird look, "Little late sweetie."
"Hey, there's Minkus," Shawn smirked before he pulled out a water gun from his backpack and aimed it at the back of Stuart's head.
"Ow," Stuart said monotonously, his eyes never leaving his book.
"Whoa!" Cory exclaimed as he stared at Shawn's squirt gun in awe, "The 2000-X Hydro- Saturator!"
"Careful. If Feeny sees this baby on school grounds, he'll snag it, and I'll have to sit out during the water wars." Shawn quickly hid it under the table.
"Gentlemen," Ellis called proudly as he pulled out his squirt gun, "Meet the Hydro Sat 3000 Z, blow your head clear off."
"The 3000?" Elena gasped, staring at it, "That's not even supposed to come out till Christmas."
"I know a guy," Ellis smirked and he too shot Stuart in the back of the head.
"You really shouldn't do that." Stuart threw his book to the side and stood up angrily.
"What, are you gonna melt?" Shawn teased.
"No," Stuart threw a large black case onto the table and pulled out a giant squirt gun, "I'm going to retaliate."
The four watched in shock as Stuart held the huge squirt gun in his hands, making Shawn and Ellis' squirt guns inferior in comparison.
"Go ahead. Make me wet." Stuart threatened as Ellis got his squirt gun ready.
The two had a stare-off before Ellis reluctantly lowered his gun.
Stuart smirked, "Wise choice."
"Ah, who needs one of those," Cory scoffed as he stood up, "For your information, a well-placed water balloon can give you just as much splash for your cash."
