"The new world," Mr. Feeny started the lesson, "People who lived their whole lives in a certain place travel to a new land of new feelings and new opportunities. Having no idea how to behave in this brand new society."

"So, Mr. Feeny," Cory raised his hand, "Tell me after you've had the courage to close your eyes and knock on the door of the new world..." He trailed off, grinning at the uncomfortable look on Elena's face.

Mr. Feeny's brows furrowed. "What are you trying to say, Mr. Matthews?"

"Are you supposed to tell everyone? Or what?" He summarized without any details.

"Huh?" Mr. Feeny was just getting more confused while Elena was thinking of how she would kill Cory.

"Oh, you don't understand my question? Perhaps my dear friend Miss Topanga Canyon Lawrence could help me out."

Topanga's eyes widened and her head snapped towards him. "Cory!"

He gasped, realizing his mistake. "It came out. It just came out," He rushed the words out, scared of the murderous glare she was giving him.

She sighed and turned to their teacher instead. "Mr. Feeny, I think what Cory is trying to say is once you've kissed-"

"Yeep!" Elena gulped, her back straightening stiffly.

Topanga grinned. "...the shores of this new world, I bet your friends from the old world would want to hear about how the new world is. And if you don't tell them, well that's just selfish."

"What are you trying to say, Canyon?" Mr. Feeny asked in exasperation. "Alright, what is going on here?"

"Nothing!" Elena yelped, "Could we just please, for once, read from the book? The boy and the girl had no idea of the changes they would soon be facing. Everything was different, including their own bodies..." She trailed off with a grimace, "What the..."

"You're reading your health book," River pointed out with a chuckle.

"Word of warning; page 73. I don't understand. It makes no sense. It looks impossible," Cory frowned.

"What is going on here?" Mr. Feeny repeated sternly this time.

"Cory kissed my hand," Topanga said quickly.

"You did?"

"She knocked on my door," He explained and smiled, "It was glorious."

"It was," Topanga nodded, "I went home and told my best friend immediately."
