"Alright kid, let's go!" Elena smiled as she threw open the door to the classroom.
"Excuse me," The teacher in charge of detention stood up and walked towards her, "Who are you?"
Elena paused and looked at him, "You're not Cory,"
"No, Mr. Matthews isn't in charge of detention this week. Now, may I please know what you think you're doing barging into my detention class?"
Elena gave him a bored look and laughed, "See, because you're not Cory I'm going to let it pass that you're talking to me like I'm a crazy lady since you don't know how things work around here."
Turning away from him, she smiled at Maya, "C'mon bug, we got places to be."
Mr. Adams looked at her in shock with his mouth agape, "Her time's not up yet!"
"How has it not become clear already that I don't care? I didn't care when I was in school getting detentions and I still don't care now!" Elena turned to him with a sarcastic smile,
Elena turned to Maya as she rolled her eyes, "y pensé que Cory era lento!"
Mr. Adams took a step forward and stood in front of Elena who just looked at him with an eyebrow arched up, "You can't just pull her out of detention."
"Yeah, I don't think you're seeing what's going on here because that's exactly what I'm doing,"
The two glared at each other as Maya watched amusedly, "Hey, listen to the boss lady. That ends up working out better for everyone!"
"I will not be forced by some random woman to cut students detention time down!"
Elena scoffed, "Well, love to break it to you pal; that's what's going to happen."
Mr. Adams paused as he stumbled over his words trying to form a coherent sentence.
"Don't worry, this isn't the first time I make a guy scared," She laughed, "You should see Cory, one look and he's shaking!"
"It's the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life!" Maya agreed as she laughed.
Soon enough Cory walked into the room and patted Mr. Adams on the shoulder sympathetically.
"This is why I do detention, it's just easier for everybody," He told him, "You learn quickly that you have no power when she comes in, you just do what she says."
Cory nodded his head to Elena who was smiling innocently.
"Well, now that that's been cleared up," Elena clapped her hands together, "We can go get our ice cream now kid!"
Maya stood from her seat and grabbed her bag slinging it onto her shoulders before hugging Elena as she always did.
The two made their way to the door when Elena turned her head back, "Maybe if you weren't so obsessed with detention you could go get ice cream too Mr. Adams."
"It's actually a lot of fun," Cory admitted as they watched the two walk away.
Elena came back in a minute later, smiling at Cory, "C'mon, you know you want to."
"Oh, I really do!" Cory yelled out excitedly as he followed her, "She lets me get any flavor I want!"
"I might have to come with you one time Ms. Martinez," Mr. Adams told her before she and Cory walked out of the classroom.
"Maybe in your dreams, we can even share a sundae during detention!" Elena smiled sarcastically as she left the room.
"Can I get two scoops this time? Please!" Cory begged like an excited child as they made their way to Maya.
"Fine but no chocolate, Topanga and I don't need you staying up all night."
"Thanks Lena, you're the best!
"I'll let you get sprinkles if you go back to doing detention," Elena bargained.
"And whip cream?"
"Qué piensas?" Elena looked to Maya.
Maya shrugged as Cory gave her a begging look, "Supongo que se lo merece."
Elena ruffled her hair with a smile before turning and nodding her head at Cory.

Just a note, this is also a reposted chapter.
I can't believe we're finally done with season 2! I hope you guys liked how it all played out, leave a comment and tell me what you thought of it. Before I start writing season 3 I'm planning on having 5 chapters which focus on Theo and Sofia's marriage prior to the start of Boy Meets World for a little insight.
