For the rest of the day, Kokichi and Himiko barely had any contact with each other. Kokichi had advised via text that he and Himiko should probably stay away from each other while they were at school, but he told her to meet him late at night under the gazebo while everyone else was asleep. It was a few minutes after 1:00 in the morning. Himiko walked out into the backyard and looked towards the gazebo. In the dim moonlight, she didn't see Kokichi there, but she began walking slowly towards it anyways. She heard a strange rustling noise behind her, but before she could see what, or who, it was, she felt an arm wrap around her waist and a hand over her mouth.

"There's my little liar," a voice purred in her ear. Himiko felt her insides grow hot. "You were amazing this afternoon, Himiko." The hand let go of her mouth and the arm released her waist. She turned to see Kokichi smirking at her flirtatiously.

"Nyeh...well, I'm just glad it's over," Himiko admitted, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "I wasn't sure how much longer I could keep up with that." With a mischievous grin, Kokichi grabbed one of Himiko's hands and led her to the gazebo where they sat down on one of the benches.

"Welp, get ready, cuz we still got some work to do," Kokichi said.

   "Th-There's more?!" Himiko asked.

"Yup," Kokichi replied. "Remember how I said that Shuichi and Kyoko would be working together and that they'd question you, and stuff like that?"

"Yeah, it turns out that you've been right about everything so far, which is really annoying..." Himiko replied. "...and kinda impressive."

"Nee-heehee, you're not wrong, though," Kokichi replied. Himiko rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, I know you're impressed with yourself," Himiko said.

"That's not what I meant," Kokichi said. "I meant the part about it being annoying."

"You think that you being right about everything is annoying?" Himiko asked incredulously.

"Yeah, everything is going exactly as I predicted," Kokichi answered. "Which makes this whole prank boring. So, I've decided to spice it up a bit to make it more...interesting."

"And...how are you going to do that?" Himiko asked with uncertainty. Kokichi leaned in closer to her with a devilish grin.

"WE are going to pin the blame on someone else," he replied in a soft whisper. His eyes locked onto Himiko's in a soul-piercing gaze that sent tingles down Himiko's spine.

"Um...uh...m-maybe we should l-leave other people out of it," Himiko whispered back. Her heart rate began to quicken and her body began to quiver under Kokichi's intense gaze. "I w-wouldn't even know h-how to-"

"We can frame Hiyoko, if you'd like," Kokichi offered, his fingers caressing Himiko's chin. Even though it was wrong to get Hiyoko involved, Himiko couldn't resist the idea of getting sweet revenge on her after all that bullying. Himiko noticed Kokichi's devilish grin growing slightly wider. He had her right where he wanted her.
