Levi's POV:

"Levi, what were you thinking?" She shouts at the volume of a whisper. I closed the door to her room and sat in a chair with my fingers entangled in my hair.

"I don't know." I mumble.

"What? Levi, speak u-"

"I said I don't know!" I shouted, looking back at her. She took a step back.

"How long has this been going on?"

I sigh. "It's complicated."

"Well you're going to have to explain."

"We started getting close after we took down Rod Reiss. I had gone in his room to talk the night before we went through with the plan. So it took off from there."

"So around 2 months."

"Something like that." I looked down at my hands remembering where they just were. I wiped them across my pants in disgust.

"What happened to 'I don't trust him' and 'he's going to get us all killed one day'?"

"I told you already. I don't know." I was getting angry. I didn't feel like being interrogated for something I already knew was stupid to begin with.

"I won't tell anyone." She sighed. I closed my eyes with relief, tilting my head back. "Just be careful, okay?" I stood up from the chair and was ready to leave but she had lightly grabbed my arm. "And don't be stupid." I ripped my arm away and left the room. I wasn't mad at her, but I could tell she was disappointed in me. I could say the same for myself.

Eren's POV:

"I can already feel it, I'm going to be brutally murdered in my sleep by the captain." I sighed, head in my hands.

"Captain Levi? What'd you do?" Armin asked as we threw the same ball I had from Levi's office. I somehow managed to steal it back. Either he didn't notice or he didn't care enough to stop me. Probably the second one.

"Can I tell you a secret?" I caught the ball and paused.

"Of course, Eren." I nodded and threw it back.

"I," I began, not necessarily sure how to word what I'm about to say, "I may or may not have kissed Captain Levi tonight." I mumbled.

"What?" He gasped.

"Shut up." I whispered and aggressively threw the ball next to his head and watched it bounce back to myself.

He flinched and squinted his eyes shut. "Sorry." He whispered back. "How did that happen?"

"Well, we may or may not have been hanging out after everyone's asleep either in my room or his office."

"And what have you been doing?"

"Just talk."

"Just talk?" He didn't believe me.

"Just talk." I nod.

"What could you and the captain possibly talk about?"

"Turns out he's a really interesting guy." I shrugged. This time, bouncing the ball on the ground to reach him rather than just throwing it over.

"More like mysterious."

"Except he isn't mysterious to me anymore because I know all those things about him now."

"Oh aren't you special?" Mikasa must've overheard us and walked over. "Did you really think bouncing a ball on the ground wasn't going to wake someone up?" Her bedhead was messy and she sat on the bed next to me. "I knew you had feelings for Levi." Armin passed the ball to me but Mikasa caught it in front of my chest and examined it for a little.

"I mean how could you not. I mean look at him." Armin mumbled. Mikasa shot him a deadly glare.

"He's dangerous. Not to mention, twice your age. Do you know how bad this looks, Eren?"

"First off, yes I do. I didn't until Hange busted down the door and caught us in the act."

"Hange caught you?" Armin loudly gasped again.

"Armin, shut up!" I aggressively whispered again. "Yes she caught us. Levi immediately left the room with her. I can't imagine what they talked about."

"Stay away from him, Eren." She sounded demanding. I didn't quite care. She can't tell me what to do.

"Mikasa, I kissed him first. I need you to understand that." Her expression didn't change but Armin let out another gasp. Mikasa and I snapped our heads in his direction before he could speak. He closed his mouth and pushed his lips together.

"Did he kiss you back?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said softly and felt the disappointment in her stare.

"Then my point still stands."

She gets off my bed and drops the ball in my lap and leaves. Armin and I both took a huge sigh.

"So what're you gonna do?" He asked.

"That's up to Levi at this point."

Everything is ruined.
