Levi's POV:

Tonight was another football game. This was the second one I would be attending and I've been trying to get out of the house more. Having Eren try and help me get better rather than stick me in a hospital is what motivated me. I still haven't had that sit down with Hange and Mikasa yet but I'll get around to it soon. That was mainly Eren's idea; I wouldn't think twice about confronting them with a problem only because they're my sisters. Siblings don't always get along so to me, this was just one of those times. But I guess if this is a time for change, expressing my feelings would be something to work on.

I was sitting on the bleachers with the rest of my friends and had my eyes glued to Eren. I loved watching him play, I could tell he loved it. Eren is the type to keep all of his emotions bottled and shoved in a corner. His secret goal has always been to redeem himself for what he put all of us through and try and be the best friend he possible can. This is a daily struggle of his and I think he channels a lot of that internal anger towards football. I also believe that's why he's so good at the sport.

This game was rough. The score was 21-7 so far and I highly doubt they'll be able to catch up. They've kept Eren in the whole time but I think he's running out of steam. It's colder than usual and I know he doesn't handle this weather well. Neither do I so I'm wearing not one but two of his sweatshirts. I refuse to buy my own so he's just going to have to deal with me taking his clothes.

"I'm going down there." I said to Hange. "Seems like he needs a pep talk."

"I'll come too."

The both of us walked down the stairs on the bleachers and I absolutely hated the way they creaked. It was like nails on a chalkboard for me. But we got to the fence just in time for them to call a quick time out so I waved him over to me as he snuck over. He took his helmet off and shook his hair out, getting a few drips of sweat on me.

"God, you're disgusting." I mumbled, wiping my face. "You're getting your ass kicked."

"I know." He must've lost his voice. His voice was abnormally raspy. "I'm tired. Shadis won't take me out because he says he needs his best players on the field."

"Jaeger!" Coach Shadis yelled from behind.

"Okay, I gotta go," he sighed and gave me a quick kiss, "love you." Then he ran back on the field before I could answer.

"You guys are too cute!" Hange squealed. "I mean just the way you two look at each other is just...wow."

"Oh please." I rolled my eyes at the compliment but I was trying to hide the fact that I was blushing. We started to walk back and I got a lot of stares from adults and some girls. Although being gay is accepted in today's society, people still act weird about it when they see it in person.

"I didn't know Eren got back with Levi. I still don't understand how he even likes guys, or him." I overheard a girl say to one of her friends. When will the bullshit ever end?

My demeanor had completely changed once I got back to my seat with the rest of my friends. Now I'm actually wondering why Eren loves me. I'm not even close to being that authoritative, badass Captain Levi who wasn't afraid of anything. Now I'm some wimp with a lot of issues. Meanwhile he went from being a troubled brat to the most loving and caring soul I've ever met. He's perfect and I'm...me.

Hange sat down next to me and put her arm around my shoulder. "Don't listen to that girl. I heard her too." She whispered. "I literally just told you I can see how much you love each other by the looks in your eyes. He loves you, don't ever forget that." I just nodded and leaned my head on her shoulder.

Eren was playing really well. Watching him was addictive with the way he moved on the field. He was so determined to win. He caught the ball and ran with it as fast as he could to the end of the field and I popped out of my seat. Everyone was cheering, praying that he scores a touchdown.
