Eren's POV:
Levi had convinced me to take us home. Actually, he was the one that took us home. He finally got his permit a month ago. If he hadn't gotten his memory back, I don't think he would've ever driven. Although losing Isabel and Furlan twice, as well as his father, was incredibly traumatic for him, his mindset that bad things happen and that you need to move on, is back in full swing. It's part of what made him so cold to others but if this is what works for him then that's all that matters.
He held my hand up the stairs and to his room.
"I'm so tired." I yawned, attempting to take my shirt off. Until I remembered I threw my wet shirt somewhere in Historia's backyard. So all I had left was my still very wet jeans clinging onto my legs. "Levi." I whined. Levi was in his bathroom, taking his contacts out.
"Yeah." He said, stretching his bottom eyelid down, scooping out the contact lense.
"My pants are stuck." I went to sit down on the bed but he must've sensed something since he turned his body and gave me the scariest death glare I had seen in a while.
"Don't even think about it."
"Don't even think about it." I mimicked to myself and laid on the floor and began the attempt of ripping off these jeans. Levi walked over eventually with his glasses on and he crossed his arms as he looked down at me.
"You look like a really hot teacher." I laughed. He rolled his eyes and in 0.2 seconds, was able to rip my jeans off. He turned them inside out and folded them only to drop them on the floor next to his dresser. "Mr. Ackerman." I sang, holding my hand out for him to pull me up.
"You're ridiculous." He pulled me up and I nearly fell on him.
"You're hot." I attempted to sound seductive but I was nothing but a slurring mess.
"And you're drunk." He pushed me on the bed then walked over to his dresser and put his own pajamas on. Which consisted of one of my shirts I had left here and his black boxer briefs. He moved his comforter out of the way and got underneath the covers next to me. Once I had laid down, my head started to spin rapidly.
"Levi." I whined again, covering my face with my hands. "Can you turn the light off?"
"It is off, Eren."
"Shit." I needed to get Advil or something to kill this headache that's about to ruin my life. So I tried to get out of bed until Levi gently pushed me back down.
"You need Advil?" He held the side of my face and rubbed my cheek with his thumb. I nodded weakly. "Okay, I'll be right back." He kissed my forehead and left the room. Levi taking care of me has become a much more common thing since he's seen the aftermath of all my fights. It makes me feel loved. I'm used to giving him all the attention so it's a nice change. He came back in the room with water, 2 Advil, and some toast. He put the plate down beside me and helped me sit up and handed me the water as I took the two pills from his hand. He kissed my forehead again once I had swallowed the Advil and laid back next to me. I whined some more and held my arms out for him to come into.
"You're pretty." I slurred as we wrapped our arms around each other.
"God, what am I gonna do with you?" He sighed, nuzzling his head into my neck. I started laughing in a maniacal way as I pulled him closer to me.
"Marry me."
"Jesus Christ." He scoffed.
"I mean it." I tried to sound more serious but couldn't help it, I just kept laughing.
"Eren, we're literally in high school."
"Not now." I said as if that was obvious. "When we're older."
"Oh jeez, I don't know if I could handle being married to you." He joked. My mind knew it but my heart certainly didn't. That can all be blamed on the alcohol.
"Wait, really?" It was clear I was hurt.
"No, Eren. Can't take a joke?"
"So you could handle being married to me?"
"Sure."
"Good enough." I sighed, feeling slightly disappointed. I gave his small body a light squeeze and left a lingering kiss on the top of his head. My head hadn't stopped spinning but it wasn't as bad as before thanks to the Advil that Levi had brought me. "Levi." I whined for what felt like the millionth time tonight. "I forgot to eat the toast."
"Just go to sleep, Eren." He said quietly. I could tell from his voice that he was already half asleep and that I had just woken him up. "And for the record."
"Yeah?" I yawned.
"I'd marry you."
That was probably the biggest my smile had ever grown and the reddest shade my cheeks have turned.
"I love you, Levi." I whispered, unable to wipe the smile away.
"I love you too. Now goodnight. Please sleep." He sounded a bit demanding but only because I knew how exhausting taking care of me is.
"Goodnight, beautiful."
