Mikasa's POV:

I left the room to give Eren time. He was reacting the way I had figured he would.

"Mikasa, what the hell is going on?" Jean whispered with massive confusion. I took his hand and we walked towards the stairs. But I had heard, similar but not as intense, sobs coming from Levi.

"Hold on." I sighed. "Go back in my room. Under my bed are a few books. Look through them." He nodded and didn't question it. I opened Levi's door to see him in the corner of his white room with his knees pulled up to his chest.

"Mikasa, get the fuck out." He sniffled, attempting to sound normal.

"Did you tell him?" Was all I said. I knew Levi was in no mood for extreme sympathy.

"Yeah." He choked out. "I told him to leave."

"God damn it." I sighed. "Levi, why?"

"Because he probably thinks I'm gross." I knew it wasn't my place to tell Levi how Eren really feels so I kept quiet. I'm not even sure what to do in this situation. We have Eren who just remembered how much he loved Levi from all those years ago and how much damage he really caused. And we also have Levi who has no idea how Eren feels and literally can't and won't know until he gets his memories back. Almost like star crossed lovers. "I really like him, Mikasa." He whispered with more tears. "Today was the best day I've had since...since..." he nodded and bit him lip knowing I knew what he was talking about. Since the accident. Since Furlan, Isabel, and dad died. "But I ruined it."

"No you didn't."

I cannot believe we have both of these boys crying about the same thing in the rooms next to each other and they don't know. Hange is gonna love this. Armin needs to get his memory back. He's having the same effect as Levi. It'll probably hit them both all at once. That's my assumption. Jean is most likely bewildered by what he's reading right now. This is chaos.

"I did. I can't see him anymore."

"Levi, why?" I sighed in frustration.

"Because now he probably thinks I have a crush on him! It's easier for you to accept me because you're my sister. But Eren? A boy? He seemed so uncomfortable." He dramatically put his head back onto his knees. It was painful knowing the truth of the situation and not being about to tell my brother whom I dearly loved. All I want is for them to be happy. I know they will be. But for now, it's hard to watch.

"I'll talk to him."

"No!" He quickly said, shooting his head up to snap at me. "I made my decision. I don't care if he comes over to see you. But not me. Not anymore." I sighed and understood. I stood up and held a hand out for him to pull himself up. Of course, he rejected it. It's the germs thing. "I played with this hair." I let out a small gasp.

"You actually touched someone else? You haven't done that besides mom since-"

"I know." He cut me off. "When I woke up, he was playing with mine. I didn't tell him to stop either."

"Wait, you let him touch you?!" I could see why this hurts even more for Levi now. The OCD thing was a huge deal. I mean even when I came into his room, the bed was already fully made with the pillows in the right order and the sheets straight as can be. "Levi," I gasped at the second realization, "he was playing with your hair?" I put emphasis on 'your'. He nodded. "What do you think that means?" He shrugged. "Oh really? Mr. Genius doesn't have an answer for once? What if Eren likes you too?" I tried to help them both out.  "I mean, didn't you say you think he's into guys? Because of how he looks at Jean?" That's still baffling to me but whatever. Levi nodded and opened his door. He walked to the bathroom a sniffling mess.

"I'm gonna shower." He whispered. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Okay. Love you."

He nodded and closed the door. He hasn't said it back since dad died unsurprisingly. I sighed and went back to Jean. He had 'The Attack of the Titans' opened.

"Dude, are we old spirits in different bodies or something?" He was overwhelmed.

"Yup."

"I'm in here!" He held the book up towards me and pointed at a picture with him drawn. "I'm so hot." He squealed. "I killed a Titan!"

"Look how many I killed." I crossed my arms and smirked. His smile dropped once we found the number. "Mikasa...you were a total badass!" He gasped. "This is the coolest thing I've ever seen." His reaction wasn't what I expected but I'm glad it's on the positive side. Much different from the panic attacks I was used to attending. This Jean reminded me of when we were older. He didn't have to worry about keeping everyone safe and alive. He just had to worry about keeping the house clean and taking care of me and the daughter we had. In other words, happy Jean. I walked over to him and set the book down in his hands and gave him a simple kiss like the one we had shared before. But it was different for him since I was the one that initiated it.

"I know."
