Chapter 111

Eren's POV:

Reiner and I got back in the car. I covered my nose and mouth with my hands and exhaled with my eyes closed.

"What did he want to talk about?" Reiner asked as he pulled out of his parked spot.

"Levi."

"What about him?"

"If I lose, he's going to ask Levi to join."

"Us or just you?"

"Just me." I took my phone out and immediately dialed the last number I called. "Hey, we just left."

"How did it go?"

Kuchel is not going to be happy about this one. "Kenny said that if I lose my fights, he's going to have a little reunion with Levi." She was silent on the other line. "You there?"

"Yeah, just give me a second." She said quickly. Once again, Eren is always screwing up the Ackerman's lives. It's a special talent at this point. "Did he make you sign anything?"

"Yup."

"God damn it. That's it," she sighed in defeat, "you're now one of Kenny's slaves. I really thought he was gonna be more careful with the fact that you're only kids."

"He knows who we were, Kuchel."

"Of course he does." She groaned. "Eren, I need you to listen and listen good. Try and be in a minimal amount of fights as possible. Less likely to lose. Which leads me to my next point. Don't you dare fucking lose those fights."

"Yes ma'am." Hearing her talk like that is still incredibly new to me. I would be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated. Now I know where Levi gets it from.

"I trust that you'll keep Levi safe."

"With every bone in my body."

"Good. I stayed up just to make sure you were okay. I'm glad you're both safe."

"Thank you, Kuchel. You're the best. I'm really sorry."

"It's fine," she sighed, "we'll figure it out. But I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay."

"Love you, sweetheart. Goodnight."

"Love you too. Goodnight." Then I hung up. Reiner pulled into my driveway and shut the car off.

"Kuchel?" He asked. I nodded. "I'll see you later then."

"Yeah. Goodnight, Reiner." I nodded and opened the car door.

"Night, Eren." He drove off once I climbed up the side of my house. I'd be dead if I walked in the front door at 1am. I slid my window up slowly and winced at the slightest creak. Once I knew my body would be able to fit, I carefully crawled through without a sound. I closed the window behind me and wiped the sweat off my forehead. I changed into my pajamas and got back into bed. I knew Levi would be awake so calling him was the best option.

Calling Levi...

The FaceTime chime rang for a bit but he picked up eventually.

"Hey, I was wondering when you'd call." He said taking his glasses off. I smiled uncontrollably at the sight. He looked adorable with them on. "You know I didn't know why I wore glasses when I didn't back then."

"Yeah, I wondered that too." I had my comforter over my face, trying to hide my ecstatic emotions.

"It's because I went blind in one eye. Remember the scar that you were obsessed with?"

"Oh my god, I never thought of that. That makes so much sense. I was also not obsessed with it, what are you talking about?" I was absolutely, positively obsessed with it.

"Every single night, you'd just trace it up and down and up and down. It looked awful."

"Levi, you looked so hot, I could barely contain myself."

"Well I'd say nerdy glasses are the complete opposite of a nasty scar. So I guess my hotness flew out the door."

I scoffed at his nonsense. I'm over here admiring him at the fullest degree.

"No, I don't think so. I think you look perfect." He did that thing where his eyes would widen but immediately go back to their relaxed position.

"That's a stretch."

"If I didn't think so, do you really think I'd go through all this trouble to have us reincarnated so I could fall in love with you all over again?"
Even through the dim lighting in his room, I could tell he was blushing. "I mean it when I say you're perfect. I love everything about you. Always have, always will. I love you." I almost felt guilty saying it. This isn't just a little white lie. I'm now in a position where Levi could be in danger and it would be my fault. I'm such an idiot, holy shit.

"I love you too, Eren." Even after all this time, I still get that burning feeling in my stomach. Butterflies I guess you could say. Just an immense feeling of love. For a second, I was able to put my feeling of guilt to the side and focus on our current relationship. We did it. We finally did it. We're together. It only took us 6 years but we got there. I remember seeing him for the first time. I smiled to myself thinking about how he was even tinier back then. "What're you smiling like a creep for?" Oh jeez, I've been caught.

"Thinking about you."

"Why think when I'm right here?" He smirked.

"Just when we were younger. Thinking about how you've been beating the shit out of me since I was 10." I laughed.

"Well you always deserved it. Plus, you've always had a punchable face."

"Remember when you kicked the shit out of me in Liberio?" I laughed even harder.

"Yeah, you looked like absolute shit. Made it easier."

"God damn, you were so pissed."

"Can you blame me?"

"Nah, I'm shocked you guys didn't take turns."

"No, you were mine. Everyone knew that."

"Of course. If Levi's on it, you can just watch the show."

"Like the courthouse."

"That was definitely a show." Talking about past memories like this was fun. There was no pain connected to them. We're able to laugh about them. Of course, some are much more serious. But there are things we know we're safe to joke about. "It was hot."

"You and your pain kink, I swear," he laughed in disbelief. Hearing him laugh even the smallest bit made my stomach scream even more.

"I do not have a pain kink!" I defended myself.

"Eren...Eren." He did not believe me, the smirk on his face proved that.

"I have a Levi kink." I felt proud coming up with that. I think my endless Titan fights prove that I do not have a pain kink. I literally came up with stabbing my eye out and cutting my leg off, what the hell am I talking about? I won't admit that to him because he'll tease me to no end.

"Fair enough." He put his glasses back on and my heart was about to burst.

"Fuck." I stretched the word out and smiled. I put my hand on my forehead and pushed my hair back.

"What now?" He knew exactly what he was doing.

"You drive me crazy. I miss you so much."

"You coming over tomorrow?"

"Absolutely."
